Just a heads up... I'll be without Internet access until late Saturday night and will thus be unable to set any late lineups for the next two game periods, so make sure you get them set on time!

I'm open to any trades. Sorry I've rarely paid attention, just a really busy year and I forget this league.

Unfortunately, I don't see an admin option to allow for trades to expire. Honestly, I think that's something good to have. I find it annoying and think it is bad manners when someone doesn't respond to a trade proposal in a reasonable period of time. Plus, there is potential for trouble if, like you said, one of the parties gets hurt, or the original team forgot about it and/or no longer wants to do it.

There's an option to decline (cancel) your own trade, isn't there?

I'd forgotten that trade was proposed before but saw it was still there and thought it sounded pretty good. I think Bautista's the better hitter, especially with the 3B eligibility (and thus a better keeper), but Beckett's had a really surprising season and I decided to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't have accepted if JB had been hurt, that would have been unfair.

Unless he plays one more game at 3B, he will lose that eligibility for next season. 15 is the number of games required and he has only played 14 thus far.

I'm okay with the trade, SC -- I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. I just completely forgot I ever proposed it and suddenly I got an e-mail about a trade I proposed and someone accepted.

i really don't understand baseball........ perhaps in roto i could but this is a points league

bautista with 414 at 4 pts a game , 2nd highest scoring batter and outfielder, who is 30 years of age

    for

ellsbury with 418 at 3.7 a game, the 1st highest scoring batter and OF, and only 28 years of age, who has finally delivered on his promise of many years

beckett with 476 at 21.6 a game and 9 wins, a amazing era, 12th in scoring for SPs, a 30 year old stud who has bounced back now (not when the trade was first proposed)

marmol with 338 at 6.5 a game and 24 saves, 17th in RP for scoring, a 29 year closer with 38 saves last year and will get close again this year and one of the highest ranked closers at the start of the year

i'm not complaining but just don't get how this is legit, it this feels this could be

Vick for Rodgers, Calvin Johnson and Jermichael Finley

    or

Durant for Lebron, Noah and Nash

can you fantasy baseball vets please explain to this dumb aussie how this is close to be even valid trade that does not destroy the integrity of the league.......
