Props on the easy win this week, Fade. I started zero pitchers so I don't go over the limit in early Sept. like last year, plus we both have cushions. With a head to head between four teams in our division, seemed like a good time to take that chance.

On another note, I sat all my pitchers last week against you because you were starting 5 SP & 2 RP and the best I could do was 2 SP & 3 RP. But of course, after adding up those bench scores, I would have ended up winning that game had I left them in. Just another one of the million times I screwed myself over with a bad decision in fantasy, whether lineup or trade. I can draft with the best of them, but am a piss poor manager it seems.

 

LonghornFan -- I've never been too strict with actively policing the IR, but I don't like the way you have been blatantly abusing it lately. You put Pujols on it last week I assume because he was only scheduled for 2 games in the period (because he wasn't hurt), and now you have Morneau on it who is not injured at all. This is not the purpose of the IR slots. Any players on IR should be injured or questionable in some way. Please cut it out.

 

First, Teri Hatcher is better than any short stop your team could trot out there..........but I still love you (forgot this is baseball, and the nothing but love league).

I only had 4 SP last week and 3RP (R. Soriano, Bell, and Nathan), heck every year my team struggles against yours, so if could of gotten away with it I would have started 12 pitchers, just to finally beat you.........but I appreciate the gimme win.....

 

I've witnessed others doing this every year I've played in this league, but you come down on me? WTF ever.

Well you gotta admit, that is kinda of weak , however enough picking on LH, the reality is people shouldn't be doing that on purpose........

BTW- When's the trade deadline? I have too many 1B and 3B and even outfielders. Would be willing to trade for a pitcher. I'd even be willing to part with my draft picks for next year for a deal if it's doable.

Also, would it possible to expand the roster spots next year? We lost two teams, drafted more players yet still kept the same roster spot availabilities. Maybe just add another UTL? Thoughts??
