Just a question, probably a dumb one, that came across my mind seeing the ARI-FLA delayed due to weather. How does that work as far as pitched games if your starting pitcher pitches just a few innings and the came is postponed? Does that count as a game, just one of those bad luck deals?

I guess it would be no different if he were to get injured or only throw 2 pitches before getting tossed (right, Lackey), but just curious...........

Rook -- I believe the points from any start or relief appearance get applied when the game is finished.

So.... anyone up for some dealing? Been a bit quiet on the trade front lately.

Good question. Let's get some deals going!

And Rook, feel free to lose some games sometime. Thanks.

Maybe we're all so stacked now that nobody feels trades are necessary anymore.

This year is nuts. I had a chance to win tonight if Molina would just DRAW A WALK IN THE NINTH WITH TWO ON, but no. He grounds into a fielders choice. I tied the Aliens. I do not enjoy ties. I seem to get at least 1 or 2 every year.

Fade had a chance to win with Wilson, the closer for SF up in the ninth, and he choked. Still up a game and a half and my offense sucked.

Fade, could you post up the pitching stats when you have the time? The starts/RP stats and whateves?

So it appears that I have no lineup this week. I know I've been less active this year, but usually the system carries over previous lineups. We've definitely had this discussion before.

Anyway, can you fix my lineup, fade?

You're welcome on the easy win, Fade. I had no pitchers to start...and well, I have room to glide with. :p

Didn't even notice until after games were started yesterday. Been so busy with work lately I haven't been putting much thought into my lineups these days.

Thanks for the pitching totals, fade. I'm always interested in seeing how people manage that aspect of this game. Since we're at the 1/3 mark of the season, that makes it easy to do the math and project when teams will run out of pitching games.

    Pace:

    Rook 156 SP, 129 RP
    Aliens 141 SP, 111 RP
    DH 138 SP, 144 RP
    Jent 186 SP, 123 RP

    Expos 165 SP, 138 RP
    LH 171 SP, 135 RP
    Smeg 177 SP, 112 RP
    PSJ 135 SP, 129 RP

Since the limits are 155 SP and 140 RP, that means at the current pace, the following teams will run out of games at the following positions on the listed game:

    Rook ... SP - game 45
    DH ... RP - game 44
    Jent ... SP - game 38

    Expos ... SP - game 43
    LH ... SP - game 41
    Smeg ... SP - game 40

    C-Wieters,Matt, BAL
    OF-Upton,Justin, ARI
    OF-Rios,Alex, TOR
    OF-Kemp,Matt, LA
    OF-Soriano,Alfonso, CHC
    SP-Harang,Aaron, CIN
    SP-Cain,Matt, SF
    SP-Billingsley,Chad, LA
    SP-Haren,Dan, ARI
    RP-Bell,Heath, SD
    RP-Nathan,Joe, MIN

Also, Jent's and DH's line-ups didn't carry over again, even though I would appreciate Jent giving me in easy win, Sam would not like it as he makes his charge up the rankings...............

Pitching games used update through week 21:

    Rook: 74 sp, 57 rp
    Aliens: 67 sp, 60 rp
    DH: 61 sp, 58 rp
    Jent: 85 sp, 54 rp
    Expos: 74 sp, 59 rp
    LH: 76 sp, 59 rp
    Smeg: 77 sp, 49 rp
    PSJ: 66 sp, 62 rp

    Current standings:

    Rook: 16-5
    LH: 11-9-1
    Aliens: 11-9-1
    Expos: 11-10
    PSJ: 11-10
    Jent: 9-10-2
    Smeg: 7-14
    DH: 5-14-2

What's with all the freaking ties this year???

Rook is running away with this league. He's definitely the favorite at roughly the halfway point. After him there's a horse race of 4-5 teams clustered together.
