It's hardly even started yet. A measly three games seperates first place from sixth place in our division. Way too early to be calling for a winner.
As I tried to warn you: "Angels optioned RHP Ervin Santana to Triple-A Salt Lake. Kelvim Escobar will come off the DL and start Saturday against the Royals. At least Salt Lake is still something of a promotion for Santana, who was in Double-A before being recalled on May 16."
He should get mvp consideration this year. A man among men. Halladay had 60 today. A few years ago people were afraid to draft him.
A few years ago I did draft him. The man was awesome down the stretch pitching numerous complete games.
If someone could set my line-up if it is not too late, please do. mine is showing no lineup at all ... I just want it the same as i've had it for the last weeks. I shouldn't have needed to do anything to it right?
Smeg, try to broker a deal between the rookie and me with your relievers. I think Rookie would be willing to work something out. Not sure. But see what you think. This could be a starter for something to think about: ---------------- Smeg: Lowell: 1.8 or Randa 2.5 Jones 5.8 ---------------- Rookie: Randa 2.6 or keep Lowell 1.8 Roberts 2.9 One of Smegs Relievers ------------------- Jamma: Griffey 2.4 Ensberg 2.2 or Lowell 1.8 -------------------- I could also throw in Chavez, but I need something more than Griffey as he was my 4th overall pick and could explode. Lowell is also pretty good potential as he could explode someday soon too. so I think Rook would want a decent reliever in the deal. ---------------------- Anybody else who has a reliever could slip into this deal as well if they wanted. Just throw out an offer.
He's just leftover junk. Maybe you had a use for him. we are just trying to give you a hitter for a reliever.
By the way, feel free to leave me out of any deal, I'm just strying to get Griffey but I don't have a reliever to give him. He might give you Griffey for a good reliever and a backup outfielder if you like Griffey.
Damn 2 mondays in a row, Can someone set this for me, Thanks. 3B-Hillenbrand,Shea-TOR 1B-Sexson,Richie-SEA 2B-Counsell,Craig-ARI SS-Izturis,Cesar-LA UI-Guillen,Carlos-DET C-Rodriguez,Ivan-DET OF-Stewart,Shannon-MIN OF-Clark,Brady-MIL OF-Edmonds,Jim-STL OF-Ramirez,Manny-BOS SP-Astacio,Pedro-TEX SP-Backe,Brandon-HOU SP-Zito,Barry-OAK SP-Radke,Brad-MIN RP-Shields,Scot-ANA RP-Nathan,Joe-MIN
Analyzing the 24th Round: Grade: D-:Balki`s Jolly Juicers Lima,Jose SP KC 1.2 He's still in the starting rotation, so he has value, but not much. In the 24th round I like the gamble for a Cy Young pitcher, but it backfired, and Lima is lucky not be in the minors right now. He's been terrible. D- only because he is still a starter. For Lima change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. Grade: B-: Utilities SteamRollers Street,Huston RP OAK Well now it looks pretty good given the fact he has three consecutive saves. He's worth starting on most teams. A true producer this late in the draft. He'd be an A if he'd been the closer since the beginning. Still unproven, but looking good. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Grade: C:SmegCity Smarmy Gits Belliard,Ron 2B CLE 2.4 Belliard has been up and down, but overall, worth having on a roster and a nice fill in. what more could you expect from a 24th round pick. He's nothing special right now, but effective. Eagles may soar, but weasels like Belliard don't get sucked into jet engines. Grade: B-:The Rookie Ensberg,Morgan 3B HOU 2.6 Morgan is hotter than hell right now, seems to be peaking, and is a starter on most teams making him an excellent selection at this point in the season. Everything seems to be falling into place. Maybe the 3rd or 4th best pick in this round. A keeper. Sometimes Ensberg looks as confused as a baby in a topless bar, but not this past month, he's giving out singles. Grade: B+:RMJ`s Bombers Silva,Carlos SP MIN 16.1 Silva has been fantastic and seems to be surging with 3 of last four starts in 20's. He's on fire right now and should start on some teams. Excellent vision by RMJ. Silva coming on strong. It's lonely at the top, but you eat better. Grade: D:The Aliens Infante,Omar 2B DET 1.9 Mildly useful player who can fill in. Barely on a roster at this point, but producing occasionally. Omar's sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others. Grade: DhiSlammaJamma Monroe,Craig OF DET 2.6 Close to making a roster in the league, but not close enough. Has value, barely. This flashilight seems to hold nothing but dead batteries. Grade: F: Pythons Floyd,Gavin SP PHI -0.8 Has been demoted and may not see the majors again. He's been a disappointment. A nice risk to take in the 24th round, but Experience is what Gavin got when he didn't get what he wanted. Grade: FarkHorses Jimenez,DAngelo 2B CIN 1.2 Absolutely worst pick at this point in the season. Is he even in AAA anymore? Who knows. There was potntial when the pick was made, but this turned out to be the worst pick of all. This energizer Bunny was arrested and charged with battery. Grade: D-: Jent`s Ilamas Williams,Bernie OF NYY 2.0 Relatively useless this year. Doesn't deserve to be on a roster yet. Probably will not return to his former status as run driver, but being on the Yankees makes his minutely desirable. Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot. Grade: C- :Capitol City Hitmen Barrett,Michael C CHC 2.2 Injuries have slowed him, but when he's playing, and starting, he is relatively effective for a catcher. Not a bad pick, just not an exciting one. Before I criticize Michael Barrett, I should walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when I criticize him, I'm a mile away and I have his shoes. Grade: B+: Fadeaway`s Expos Urbina,Ugueth RP DET 6.0 Urbina has produced 8 saves in last the few weeks. He's racking up points left and right. When Ordonez comes back he may get even more. He's allowed just two runs in 14 1/3 innings. He who laughs last thinks slowest. Top 3 1. RMJ - Silva 2. Fadeaway - Urbina 3. Rookie - Ensberg Bottom 3 1. Dark Horse - D'Angelo 2. Pythons - Floyd 3. Balki - Lima Time
