Games used through week 38: SP Max: 185 RP Max: 150 Nobody is on pace to hit the maxes by the end of the regular season, so these will likely have to be scaled back a bit next year. Playoff Situation: There are 7 game periods left and 3 teams have already clinched playoff spots! The last spot is up for grabs. Although nobody is mathematically eliminated yet, it's mainly a two dog race between Rook and PSJ. PS: I don't know why the image is so small, but if you click on it, it will be displayed fine.
My team has gone from a V8 to a 4 cylinder, and I only have three pitchers to start on the weekend. Lovely.
With PSJ's win tonight coupled with Rook's loss, the 4 playoff spots are now clinched: - Expos - Aliens - LonghornFan - PSJ The remaining two games will only determine seeding which is based on record first, and then total fantasy points scored second.
At least we had the best division. I've given up on my team. I haven't won in like 3 weeks. Just ZERO offense. I have zero faith and will just group hug them and pray for the best.
Games used through week 44: Max: 185 SP, 150 RP. Nobody is in any real danger of exceeding limits. The only thing yet to be determined is placement for the #1 and #2 seed between the Aliens and Expos. First round of playoffs start Monday.
Playoffs: Round 1: One week (2 game periods... Mon-Thur, Fri-Sun) SP max: 9 total Round 2: Two weeks (4 game periods) SP max: 18 total
I had no idea I had so many SP games remaining. Not that it mattered with my team scoring 20 points per period hitting wise, but damnit. Is there any way that can be posted on FanStar with updates next season?
Fanstar's tally of SP/RP games is not reliable so the only completely accurate method is to add them up manually, which I have been doing all season and posting periodically here.
You are correct. Did this late last night and didn't even notice that. Results won't be affected at all, but I went back and made the appropriate retroactive changes anyway. LHFan is going to finish in 3rd place no matter what.
Site is back up and round 1 playoff match ups have been made. It looks like final seedings will be: #1. Aliens #2. Expos #3. Longhorn #4. PSJ Remember, you get 9 SPs to use throughout the two period round, no more no less. Fill in the other slots with RPs. Good luck to everyone.
Wow, I majorly f'd up. I thought we had to set our lineup for the entire week, not each period. Oh well.
Well, at least your first starter for the week didn't get beaned in the arm and forced to leave after one inning.
Final match is set: Aliens vs. Expos for all the marbles. The world series is 4 game periods. Each team gets 18 SP, no more no less. Fill in the other slots with RPs. Good luck.
Missing 4 of my keepers from last year, including Mauer's recent injury. But hopefully I can keep up with the high-powered Expos.
