This is an important week for my team as I am playing SamIamwhippingtherooksbutt for the first part of the week and want to try and close that 30 game lead he has on me.............taking it one game at a time, after Thursday it will be down to 29!!!! Watch out SAM here I come!!!
Wow, when did Fanstar change their layout? It's a bit confusing at first as I was used to the bland playbook, but I dig it now.
Your team is a lot better than it's shown so far. I'm sure you will end up giving me a run for it. If not, you're likely to get a wild card and beat me like you did in football.
You should know there is no way I would ever willingly bench Gallardo. This was due to Fanstar incorrectly listing pitching probables. Simply put, you got lucky this week and have no reason to gloat. You should meekly accept your good fortune and move on.
I will not meekly accept anything as I've been in this situation MANY times. Fanstar tells me they'll play, the game play ends, I lose by like 10 points and then they start next day. No pity for you! And lucky? That's like my 8th Player of the Week trophy thing for most points scored. 3-0 baby!
Team of the week, sure. But Ubaldo's last game has to scare you a bit. He's a career 3.5 ERA guy with a mediocre WHIP - maybe he's coming back down to earth.
My WHOLE team scares me week in and week out. Pujols is not being Pujols at all. He's being Berkman when Berkman was good. That's not good enough for my number 1 keeper and the first pick in the draft. Morneau gets hurt every other day. 2B Hill forgot the season started. My whole outfield was basically put together from the FA pool. Halladay is all of a sudden losing every start. Yeah, safe to say I'm not too confident in my team whatsoever. I have to gloat while I can.
While we're complaining about our rosters, my two (early) drafted 3B have both been brutally terrible and 2 of my keepers have been hurt the entire season. My pitching, which usually sucks, has carried me this far. Maybe that will energize the talk, change it from smack to whining about our own players.
Damnit Fade. Will you lose some games or something, besides to me every time. I need a cushion for my psyche.
