Garrett Stephenson had Tommy John surgery last April and history has shown that pitchers need 1.5 - 2 years to make a full recovery.

You know who would be a good pick?

Neither do I, but I sure hope Ren picks him soon . . . .

Less than a year after Tommy John surgery, Garrett Stephenson has likely has won a rotation berth, especially with Darryl Kile coming off shoulder surgery and Rick Ankiel ailing with a sore elbow.
Stephenson allowed just one run in nine innings over his first two spring training starts.

Ankiel, who has made just one appearance, won't be ready for the start of the season. Kile pitched two perfect innings in his first spring training start and is projected as the fifth starter until he regains strength.

Stepenson threw 5 shutout innings last week as well. Bullpen??? I don't think so.

Fine so Benes in the pen, does it really matter. I like Bud more than Garrett, bottom line.

Cmon Ren. 2 Lousy rounds left. Can we get this done already? Everybody go to auto so when Ren picks, we will be done.

    Please :)

I don't know DV. I'm pretty happy with my team thus far. My strategy this year is to forget about the infield and to go after the big scorers. I'm sure opening day will force me to change that strategy quickly.

Can't we just skip the season and Crown me Champion?

We all know thats going to be the result anyway, why prolong the agony for everyone else?

Eh, pued, I can't conceding anything to you right now. You'll have to pry that title of my hands if you want it and it will NOT come without a hard fight by me.

Anybody interested in the fourth waiver wire pick (and a shot at one of the rookies) I'd be willing to listen to offers

    Finally, we're done.

Some nice picks in the last couple of rounds.

Puedlfor taking Brad Fullmer with his 24th pick

    Behad grabbing Knoblauch at 25

Cat with Torii Hunter in the 24th round (how did he fall this far?)

DrewP taking Livan Hernandez at 24 (he worked hard in the offseason and is said to be in great shape. Could have a big year)

DV with what may be the sleeper of the draft, Tony Clark at 25 (if he stays healthy look for monster numbers playing in Fenway)

It looks wide open this year. Anybody could win it. Remember its a long long season and the grind wears down the average owner (stops participating). Good luck to everyone and may the best team (mine of course;) ) win.
