I really thought we had some momentum going. Sigh.... ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS
Cmon Rob, Lima is still there (I think you'll find him on the last page ) ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley)
Dag, Three pitchers on my list. Three Pitchers gone. Nothing more frustrating. I was thinking of getting all the Yankees Starting Pitchers. So much for finishing of my starters. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
What's with the Lima fixation? No doubt about it, Rob must die. Kiiilll.. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
Well guys I'm calling it a night, looks like y'all will just have to wait for my next two picks ------------------ I'm worse at what I do best And for this gift I feel blessed

Sorry for the hang up. I'll be back this afternoon/evening. As for the Lima thing, it's because I took Lima with my 2nd pick last year and he as we all know imploded and he singlehandedly killed my SP. ------------------ Producer at SportsRadio 1340 KKAM visit me online at www.robertsnyder.net 2000 Sportscaster of the Year @ KTXT-FM, Lubbock
8th round. I took Kerry Wood. Ren is up again. Hope he doesn't take too long this time. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
Damn you fadeaway. I knew I should have grabbed Wood earlier ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley)
Grabbed Kevin Millwood with my round 9 pick. I'm hoping Wood and Smoltz come back big this year from injuries. I also think Millwood is due for a major rebound after a disappointing 2000 season. He came on strong at the end of last year. Leiber was tempting; he served me well last year, but the "experts" are predicting that his arm will wear down this year, so I took Wood and Millwood instead (the woodies! ). ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy. Wood got rocked last night, but I'm still hoping he can recover because he brings so much spark to the game. Milwood pitched ok his first time out. Both good risks at this point. I was just ensuring that I got some big time relievers. Lowe pitches for a good team. Foulke pitches for a good team and gets 9K/9inn. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
Pitching for the first time since undergoing the dreaded "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow last March, the Atlanta ace accomplished his main goal Tuesday: He threw pain-free in a spring training game against Los Angeles. The fact that he gave up a two-run homer to Chris Donnels, walked two in his only inning and wound up as the losing pitcher in an 8-4 defeat did not matter in the least. ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley) [This message has been edited by BobFinn* (edited March 06, 2001).]
That is good news. Spring training is meaningless. Randy Johnson had like a 9.0 ERA during spring last year, but guess what, he was ready for the season. I like my pitching staff. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
Geez, I thought we would get another round in today. Guess I was wrong. ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley)
Dammit, Walker was my next pick ------------------ I'm worse at what I do best And for this gift I feel blessed
No he was mine ------------------ "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."- (Aldous Huxley)
