Zambrano, Escobar...what's the difference? I 'll check it out when I get home in the morning and make the necessary corrections. I might have done it when I was dealing with the UT thing.
Loaiza was 2 outs away from a 3-hit, complete game shutout. Damn, so close to a 57 point game....I guess I'll settle on a 38. I picked up Loaiza from the waiver wire...which, since he was 3-0 at the time, should have been the kiss of death for him.
uploaded pages and pictures from the pickup game, BBQ, game and your BBQ to to server, Mango should be adding them as we speak
Loaiza is my least favorite ball player of all time. 1. He stunk up the joint consistantly with the Jays last season 2. He got a -15 as a spot starter for me last year in a close game with Finn 3. He just dropped 38 points on my butt I want to punch him in the face. Our game still might be close. Gagne got a save and my hitters (those that played) mostly did well. Plus, Sabathia had a bad outing for you. Oh well.
It's weird how you get pictures in your head of how people look, and then find out they are actually nothing like you had envisioned.
My guys are dropping like flies. This is so pathetic that it's almost comical: Albert Pujols - OF - St. Louis Cardinals Apr 18 An MRI revealed that Albert Pujols has a sprained right elbow ligament that will limit him to pinch-hitting duties for now. Pujols is able to hit, but he might not be able to play left field for up to three weeks. Darin Erstad - OF - Anaheim Angels Apr 23 Darin Erstad sat out a second consecutive game because of a swollen tendon in his lower right hamstring. Mariano Rivera - R - New York Yankees Apr 23 Mariano Rivera felt sore after his outing at extended spring training Monday. Roberto Alomar - 2B - New York Mets Apr 23 Roberto Alomar is playing with an injured right hand. Alomar doesn't know what caused the injury, which is discolored, but says it bothers him mostly when he catches a ball in the pocket of his glove. Mark Kotsay - OF - San Diego Padres Apr 23 Manager Bruce Bochy said Kotsay is to miss 2-3 games but probably won't go on the DL. Kotsay left last night's game when his back ''locked up'' on him. A similar injury kept him out a few games last season Brian Giles - OF - Pittsburgh Pirates Apr 23 Brian Giles has been able to accelerate the exercises in his rehab program and hopes to be taking batting practice this weekend. ''I’m tired of rehabbing,'' Giles said. His probable return date from a sprained MCL looks like the May 2-4 series in Los Angeles That's six of my starters on the injury report, either missing games or playing through pain. Right now Gary Sheffield and my pitchers are literally carrying my team. Yeesh.
Last year Finn escaped Pedro every week. This year he got lucky again with RJ, but I'm still going to come back on his ass and whoop him for everybody.
He is high up on my list as well. He always starts out like a 20 game winner, then collapses. He will crash back to earth, you can count on that. And Phi, why on earth did you put Prior on your bench? Mark Redman? Is Prior injured or something?
If Prior is pitching I"m going to be pissed! I went with 5 guys ESPN said would be starting. RJ already bailed on me.
Zito took the loss tonight. I needed that fadeaway. Now it's Wade Miller and Randy Wolf vs. Matt Clemente and Andy Petitt.
Zito took the loss, but Anderson picked up the save, which helped minimize the damage. Right now, I'm up by 20, so it's anybody's game. Sheffield has been spectacular.
Shoud be a good finish finn. I'm actually quite happy to only be down 16 with one more day. I have two pitchers who suck but who play sucky teams. You have two good pitchers that play good teams. Ought to be interesting. Too close to call right now. Posada is killing Ausmus.
