Should I accept Andruw Jones for Greg Maddux?

I do need a better hitter, and I still have hope for Maddux, but I dunno what to do.

I think Maddux is telling you what to do. You know he was starting to stink when the Astros were hitting him last year. That's always a tell tale sign.

Behad- Can you explain the RP scoring...it seems different than years past.

For example:

Jorge Julio- -10 points...this was for two blown saves (i assume a deduction of 5 pts for each one)...but there were no further deductions for hits giving up, runs giving up, walks, etc...conversely there were no points added for outs recorded, strikeouts, etc...Is this right? I don't remember a deduction for blown saves, just the -5 points for a loss, and then any other relevant stats from the outing were then added or subtracted to those -5.

Did Julio even pitch this weekend? The ESPN box scores show that he didn't play at all. Likewise, the recap section ( http://www.fantasybaseballone.com/baseball/clutchcity/index.php?page=matchup&weekstat=4&matchupnum=2 ) indicates that he has zero innings pitched, etc.., but is still penalized -10.

Fortunately, this does not affect the game score (you would have lost even without the -10), but it's still pretty weird.

 

Replace "game score" with "final result".

 

oh yeah, there's no doubt it wouldn't effect the outcome, I was just confused (and honestly I didn't check the box scores for julio, I just saw the two blown saves on my team stats page, and just assumed he was lit up as he has been most of the year)

 

Can I get a Randy Johnson Handicap. I mean I would reasonably expect him to get 30 plus a night. So I would like a +25 added onto my score each week. This sucks big time!

 

Games played are listed per week for each player, but there isn't an all inclusive games played per position, at least none that I have found.
