Behad/fade...can you update my lineup again? j/k....I finally got the chance this morning to do it for myself. BTW PSJ, you just had to start 5 pitchers didn't you.....you b*stard! you guys are killing my starting pitcher game limit. I would have gladly gone with a 3 vs. 3 faceoff.
Livan Hernandez is an asshat. I need some big points from Harden and my relievers or I'm in serious trouble this week.
I was sitting here, trying to figure out what "asshat" meant. This is the only thing I could think of: Is this an "asshat"?
This matchup has Berkman with a -3 on 1 for 8 hitting with 4 K's, and Hildalgo is at -6 with an 0 for 8 with 5 K's and an error. Way to go Stros.....
I'm getting chewed up this week, and I thought I had a chance to tie up the Skulls. My fantasy team is playing for pride at this point.
WOW! The Skulls just snatched victory from the jaws of defeat! On two pitches! The situation: My team is down by 6 to the Launchers, with only one player still with a chance to score: Troy Percival, who is sitting in the bullpen as Donnelly finishes up a 5-1 win for the Angels. But he gets in trouble in the ninth. With two outs, he gives up a double and a walk, creating a save situation for Percival, who is called upon to get the last out. He throws two pitches, the second of which is a pop up to end the game. Save - Pervical, and a 5 point win for the Skulls! About time I caught a break in this league.
Stupid Worrell... He messed up Ponson's shutout which cost me the game. Oh well, luckily Smeg and Finn lost too.
Attention league owners! I got this in an email from Fanstar: The [baseball] position limits are not functioning. This new feature we added this year for baseball is not working to curtail lineups. So I looked over the limits for everyone. Positional players are not affected, no one is close to using all 162 games. But this DOES impact our pitchers. One team, Cat's Celebriducks, have exceeded their relief pitcher total. However, only one outcome was affected. Week 37's win against SF3's Stovers was changed to a win for SF3 and a loss for Cat by a score of 83-77. The Cat lost games in weeks 38 and 39, so it didn't affect the outcome. His YTD score did get lowered, however, in that all important battle for 5th place in the division. As for this week's matchup with the Smegs, I edited Cat's lineup to remove his RP's (which actually raised his score, due to Scott Williamson's -11). WHAT NOW? Here are the updated pitcher usages: SSG Tools - SP-115, RP-129 cjYodas - SP-127, RP-99 LCSkulls - SP-147, RP-114 SF3 - SP-113, RP-110 Cat - SP-90, RP-finished (153 as of Monday) LLunchers - SP-118, RP-94 fade Expos - SP-127, RP-117 Pythons - SP-127, RP-91 Smeg - SP-138, RP-114 Pimp - SP-134, RP-115 PSJ - SP-127, RP-110 Puedlfor - SP-115, RP-113 These totals get updated on Mondays, so I will monitor it every week. As teams get close to the limit, I'll remind them. ONCE YOU MEET YOUR LIMIT, PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SP OR RP PITCHERS (DEPENDING ON WHICH IT IS) IN YOUR LINEUP. If you do, I will edit those players back out. Sorry about this, but it is not an insurmountable problem, just one that requires more manual work for me and the honor system for everyone. And our first warning for getting near the pitcher's limits goes out to...Behad, of the League City Skulls. Better watch it, Behad!
