Beenhad - why are the score on the frontpage for the match-upo just finished wrong, i won, which you find out when you click on recap
The scoring for Week 34 is not completed yet. They are having problems. Notice that the standings have not updated yet?
cool btw making some chicken today on the Chris Webber can you remember who started that threa about marinades a few months back
I'm back at work tonight, after being off for 17 days. Got your email about chicken recipes, but I really don't have a recipe. I use Heinz Chicken marinade - Zesty Lemon Pepper - and just cook over pecan wood, keeping the chicken moist with marinade.
In case y'all didn't notice, Week 34 results have been updated and are final...oh, and Wade Miller and Flash Gordon can kiss my ass.
Well Scott Shields is starting for the Angels against Toronto, so he's a 3rd starter for me. Rod Beck is on fire as far a saves, 14 saves in 14 chances all in the last 2 months. Oh and Trevor Hoffman is due back around Labor day, so I grabbed him off the waiver wire
lol.. I remember reading that he wanted to come back and play one game before the season ended. I certainly am glad that I added Hampton to my lineup at the last minute. His good outing sort of balances out Zito's -8.
I get 45... 27 for 9 innings, -8 for hits, +11 for K's is 30, plus 10 for the win and 5 for the complete game. I believe Fanstar is adding an additional 10 for the shutout becouse he gave up no earned runs, but he did give up 1 unearned run, thus negating the 10 point shutout bonus.
Also, Aaron Boone's points haven't been counted either. It hasn't mattered until now because his hits, runs and stolen bases have been offset by his strikeouts. However, he should get credit for a double he hit so far today.
Finn -- Looks like Rivera blew the save, robbing Pettitte of a shutout. I should still have enough to maintain a comfortable lead, though. Should probably have even sat Hampton, but there was no way to predict what would happen, and I consider all games against you and Smeg to be must win situations. Also, I was looking over the remaining schedules and I think that mine is a tad more forgiving than yours or Smeg's. Pythons play Smeg twice, Pimp twice, SSG twice, Phi once, Behad once, jent once, Expos once. Smeg plays Finn twice, Phi twice, jent twice, SSG once, Pimp once, Behad once, Expos once. Expos play jent twice, Finn once, Smeg once, Behad once, Pimp once, Phi once, SSG once.
Pimp's schedule isn't too bad: Phi twice, Finn twice, SSG once, Smeg once, Behad once, jent once, Expos once Put a winning streak together and Pimp could surprise. Phi's is absolutely brutal: Smeg twice, Pimp twice, SSG twice, Behad twice, Finn once, jent once, Expos once That will be hella tough to overcome.
Did I mention Jeriome Robertson blows? I had chalked this one up as a loss before it even started. Your 4 aces against Hudson was a major mismatch. 3 games back with 14 to go, still a ways to go before this is over. Anything can happen.
Could've cut the lead to one game if not for some of the most awful managing ever. I left Schilling, Lohse and Padilla on the bench. I guess Russ Ortiz getting shelled by one of the worst offenses in baseball didn't help either.
Fear not, CJ, you still have a great shot at winning the west, because of the lastest SP USAGE updates (The Tools are in deep trouble) Tools - 156 Yodas - 113 SF3 - 106 Skulls - 132 Cat - 78, but RP is at 137 DV - 107 Expos - 114 Smeg - 130 Finn - 115 Pimp - 122 PSJ - 113 Pued - 105 There are 15 regular season games left, plus the one week playoff, and with a 162 game limit on SP's, the Tools will be headed into a losing streak unless his hitters get really, really hot. Commissioner fade, I have a question. Does the 162 game limit apply to the one week playoff as well, or should we reset the limit for the last week so that every team will be at full strength for the playoffs?
