Let's see...4 out of 5 of BobFinn's pitchers get a win, while 1 out of 5 of my pitchers win. Nen goes on the DL after lineup submission deadline, while his replacement gets two saves. The entire Astros lineup is scoring like crazy...except Berkman. The Angels are blowing the Rangers away by so many runs that Percival gets nothing but mop up duty. Only one hitter has scored in double figures (Jacque Jones, the one I considered the weakest of my outfielders) This season is off to a bad, bad start.
So far I have the 3rd highest score in the league. However, of course I happen to be matched up against the person with the 2nd highest score. I swear, I have the absolute worst luck with scheduling in the history of fantasy leagues. This has happened to me so many times in so many leagues that it isn't even a surprise anymore. At least I still have a slim chance of making a comeback. Prior needs to bomb, though.
Ok, I have a couple of questions about the scoring. Where are HBP? And I also don't see Errors listed anywhere. I take it Grand Slams are accounted for (Soriano's score is correct) without grand slams in the stat line. Are HBP's and Errors also counted this way? With no record of them on the stat page?
I know that fade. I was just curious if these were being deducted (errors) and added (HBP) even though there is no record of them on the "Recap" page. I think they are because Troy Glaus has the following stat line: 4 runs, 4 hits, 1 RBI, 1 HR and 2 walks = 14 points He also has 1 K = -1 That gives him 13 total points, yet the web site has him for 12. Possibly he has an error for the other -1? I will have to scour the Angels box scores: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/boxes.htm
BobFinn, concerning the stats such as errors not showing in the recap box, you can look on your team page and click on "Team Stats" and get a complete box of all the fantasy scoring your players did for that week. Also, re: Jimmy Rollins, I sent an email. It should be fixed soon. It's not just Rollins, but all players with negative numbers. Same problem we had in this league.
I do feel bad for you fadeaway. You even caught Randy johnson and Bartolo Colon on bad days. That's gotta hurt. But as for me I couldn't be happier. Zach Day, Clemens, Prior , and Radke were great. It was just enuff to hold you off. I'm really suprised by Bob finn's Team. I didn't think they would be that good. I knew Brown could be great, but I didn't know his team could put up that many points. He's going to be a tough out this year. Not like basketball.
Just a reminder -- you have to enter your lineups every week. They will not carry over from the previous week. Currently, three teams have no lineup entered.
Actually, they're supposed to, but haven't yet. I asked if they would and Fanstar said yes, they carry over. If they don't, and someone forgets to set his lineup (cough cough DV cough cough), I can do it manually.
I set my lineup Behad and I am trying to stick Drew on IR to claim an available player to add to my team currently and am having no luck. Mainly, I need to know how to put Drew on IR, I see on the Add/Waive list a spot to do it, but it isn't working.
Go to your team page, click on add/waive at the top, there is a link below where you enter your team id that is add to ir..... I'm not an expert at this stuff but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
What the hell happened to Kevin Brown's points? I went from 205 to 190. I sure wish they would get these kinks worked out in the software.
I did not know that we had to re-enter lineups every week. So my lineup is currently, well not there.
