Everyone keeps saying that, but his last two losses have not been his fault. He went 7 innings in both, giving up 3 earned runs in each. His offense has only scored two runs in each game. He hasn't had a bad outing, just bad run support.
One week later: one run on 6 hits, no walks and 7 K's in 8 innings of work....and ANOTHER FREAKING LOSS! Come on, Sox, score some freaking runs!
Just wanted to say that I'm back (did you miss me?). Big thanks to Behad for managing my lineup. Great job!
Yeah, Ponson pulled you out of the fire against me. I was leading up till the last game played Thursday, when Ponson went the distance for a 39 and a 3 point win for you! In this weekends games, I left Hampton out of the lineup because he was facing Mark Prior in Wrigley with the wind blowing out. Who knew?
Back already? I thought you were going into the service or something? I would like to know the answer to smeg's question above as well.
Not quite yet. I'll be around until the second week of September or so. I guess I'll have to groom a protege to take over my team for the last few weeks of the season.
Let me help ya, Pimp Another week, another DeJean ass sucking! He just blew another save for Kinney. If I was Kinney, I'd be kicking DeJean's ass about now. Lucky for me I have a comfortable lead over the Tools, or I'd be really, really pissed right now.
Oh, still waiting for an answer from Fanstar concerning next week's schedule. I would presume that Thursday will be added to the Fri-Sun game.
Without pitching probables, I don't see how we can. If I don't have an answer tonight, I can always manually adjust lineups should there be a problem.
The East is looking like it will be a fight to the finish. 5 teams will be within 2 1/2 games at the allstar break if things hold up tonight.
OK, it's official, Thursday's day will be added to the Fri-Sun game. If anyone has trouble setting their lineups, fade or myself will be around Wednesday and Thursday get it right.
