140-136 for me now. So many things could happen, though.

Single for Jeter. Now I need a double play.

Young will definitely get another at bat, if he isn't pulled.

2nd and 3rd 1 out. I think you got this one wrapped up fade. Barring a meltdown by Rivera in the bottom of the 10th he should get a win.

No, they'll probably pinch hit for Rivera.

Ummm...scratch that, Matsui hits into a double play. You still should win unless Rivera gets a loss.

4 points this inning (7 total) from Rivera. Top of 11th coming. Unless Jeter bats again and hits a 3-run HR, you won this game fade.

I could also lose points if Mariano gets the loss.

Posada hit an easy grounder that Reyes booted. Yanks have bases loaded an 0 outs. Rivera will get the win.:(

So, if Rivera leaves the game tied 3-3 with runners on base, then the Yankees score and bring Osuna or someone in to pitch the bottom of the inning, who gets credited with the win?

It figures that an Aussie would come into play in this game:D

Graham Lloyd walks the pinch hitter (Gipson) with the bases loaded. Yanks take lead 4-3.

Rivera is the pitcher of record until another pitcher throws a pitch. Osuna will get a save if he holds the lead.

Jeter walks again and scores a run. 7-3 Yankees

    Good game fade

Hard to believe with 17 guys in each of our lineups it comes down the the 11th inning of the last game.

Check out the starting pitcher staff I've assembled in countingcrow's mid season league:

    Kevin Brown
    Greg Maddox
    Andy Petitte
    Roy Oswalt
    Wade Miller
Tom Glavine (a waiver wire pickup, can you believe someone dropped him?)
    Joel Pineiro
    Kaz Ishii

I'm down to one reliever, Jose Mesa, so I may make one more move. But the scoring is total points, and the limits are 1000 innings pitched regardless of starting or relieving, so I can burn those 1000 innings any way I want. With a starting staff like that, who needs relievers?

    Damn, that's a fine staff;)

How did you get Kev Brown? I was going to select him but whoever picked right before me took him:mad:

For those wondering what the hell I'm talking about, I drafted for Behad in this league as he was unable to make it.

The trade (which fade thinks I got hosed on, tell me what y'all think) was A-Rod, Armando Benitez, Scott Williamson, and Luis Gonzalez for Austin Kearns, Kevin Brown, Andy Petitte, and David Eckstein.

The way I see it, Kearns for Gonzo is a wash, and Eck was a throw in. So it was A-Rod and the two closerws for Brown and Petitte. Since this is a total points league, I figure I can use every starter I have till now and the end of the season and still just barely reach the 1000 innings limit. I still have Jose Mesa as a closer, and a glut of OF's to trade with (Millar, Walker, Ibanez, Juan Gonzalez, JD Drew, Cliff Floyd, Pat Burrell, Vlad Guerrero, Bernie Williams, Kearns.)
