Behad, the players total points for the season are not being displayed on the waiver list.

Both Divisions still seem to be getting tighter. I'm just hanging on with Randy out and hoping that somebody will put some points up against Finn and slap him back down to earth. I'm still more worried about Fadeaway and Smegs team than I am the Pythons.

So far it's still a dog fight.

    Behad-

The utility games played is being counted toward my first base total allocation. At this point I'll be at the limit by the All-Star break. Can this be fixed?

The reason this is happening is because you do not update your roster on a regular basis. When I have to enter (carry over) all the lineups, it puts players in their default position (I do this from an admin page, not on a per team basis. It's a single click for me). When an owner enters his lineup, he can differentiate the UT player. I've talked the Fanstar about it, and they cannot fix it at this time, due to the UT player being unique to our league. They would have to write a script specific to our league, and they ain't gonna do that.

fadeaway, what should we do? Our options are limited. Best I can figure, we may have to do away with the 162 game limits for positional players to accomidate those owners who do not update their lineups on a per game basis.

BTW, this does not affect pitchers, who are not eligible to be UT players.

It still not over yet, but thank you Tim Worrell.

BTW, Nomar Garciaparra and Garrett Anderson are hitting gods!

Fade, you should have lost this week. That just made me sick to watch as Sheff and Pujols had career weeks, and then mays gets 14 runs of support. Jesus. Just makes me sick. Good match tho. If by some miracle foulke gets a save it'll be close. But nothing is going my way today. so I don't expect jack from that guy. Ughhh. This is a fantasy nightmare. I'm going to check on behad and see if he pulled the upset so that I don't have to think about this anymore.

OK, just because I'm bored here at work tonight.....

Most MLB teams have played an average of 71 games already, leaving 91 games to be played. We have a limit of 162 games played for SP's, and 140 games for RP's.

(Please note, I did not do this for positional players, because no one is anywhere near being over the game limits for them, with the exception of those owners who do not submit weekly lineup changes. If I have to fill them in for you, your UT player is counted in his default position, as explained several posts above. Again, no one is in danger of losing points by using too many positional players.)

Now then here's everyone's use of pitchers so far (thru week 22):

Severely Underpaid Tools...99 SP games used, 39 RP games used, or 4.5 SP and 1.77 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 36 (of 51 total). He will not run out of RP games.

ChrisJent Yodas...65 SP games used, 55 RP games used, or 2.95 SP and 2.5 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will not run out of RP games.

Cat's Celebriducks...42 SP games used, 87 RP games used, or 1.91 SP and 3.95 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will run out of RP games in week 36 (of 51 total).

SF3's Stovers...66 SP games used, 61 RP games used, or 3.0 SP and 2.77 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will not run out of RP games.

League City Skulls...83 SP games used, 71 RP games used, or 3.77 SP and 3.23 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 43 (of 51 total). He will run out of RP games in week 43 (of 51 total).

Longhorn Lunchers...70 SP games used, 52 RP games used, or 3.18 SP and 2.36 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will not run out of RP games.

Finn's Pythons...72 SP games used, 38 RP games used, or 3.27 SP and 1.72 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 49 (of 51 total). He will not run out of RP games.

fadeaway's Expos...64 SP games used, 61 RP games used, or 2.91 SP and 2.77 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will not run out of RP games.

Smegville Numbnuts...92 SP games used, 65 RP games used, or 4.18 SP and 2.95 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 39 (of 51 total). He will run out of RP games in week 48 (of 51 total).

PhiSlammaJamma...74 SP games used, 51 RP games used, or 3.36 SP and 2.32 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 48 (of 51 total). He will not run out of RP games.

Capitol City Hitmen...76 SP games used, 57 RP games used, or 3.45 SP and 2.59 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will run out of SP's in week 47 (of 51 total). He will not run out of RP games.

Failure's Bridegroom...70 SP games used, 56 RP games used, or 3.18 SP and 2.55 RP used per contest. At this rate, he will not run out of SP's. He will not run out of RP games.

As you can see, some of us need to control our use of pitchers, while other can start adding pitchers to try and win some games.

Behad -- wow.. thanks for that info.

Phi -- shut up. You're winning. If Pettitte didn't get rained out, I would probably have won. Gagne is my only chance now.

Well, now I'm up by 3. When I posted before, you were ahead by 4.

Oh well. A Gagne save would seal it. Otherwise it will be very close.

Bagwell sucks man. He's had like 1 point for last 4 weeks and all I needed was one damn hit tonight.

It's down to 2 points and I have maybe one at bat left with Walker. Need a miracle now. But I can do it. You gotta believe in miracles.

My matchup with The Cat is too damn close for comfort. My squad has overcome a 20+ point deficit today to reach a 9 point lead without the use of a starting pitcher. I've got a couple more at bats with Helton vs. Aurillia/Cruz. Watch us tie.

Kotsay just doubled, picking up a couple of RBIs. Unless Walker hits a multi-RBI homer, that should be it.
