    Trade No. 1: Lauri Markkanen
    Houston Rockets Receive: Lauri Markkanen

    Utah Jazz Receive: Jabari Smith Jr., Reed Sheppard, Dorian Finney-Smith, 2030 first-round pick

    Trade No. 2: Trey Murphy III
    Houston Rockets Receive: Trey Murphy III

    New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Tari Eason, Steven Adams, 2032 first-round pick

    If GM Rafael Stone somehow pulled off both deals this summer, the conversation around the Rockets would change immediately. They would be viewed as a team capable of winning the 2027 NBA championship.

    Would probably take more picks, but should they go all in ?

    You are the absolute king of ludicrous trades. You could combine both trades and still not get Murphy.

    I'm not giving up Jabari, let alone Reed too, for the right to pay Lauri 50/yr for 41 games/yr.

    We're not selling our future for this Dude.

    TM3 is a nice player, but NO would want too much.
