The way I saw the game is that when it came time for crunch time, the Lakers had a crunch time time of defense. They couldn't play like that the whole game, but they could in spurts especially in the critical stages of the 4th Q. The Rockets had a defense that was geared towards starting the break. We had no way of stopping them at crunch time. We hoped to simply out-offense their team, and we couldn't do that.

Until we add in a crunch time defense, we'll always run the risk of losing if it's still close in the 4th.

"We got to keep the ball moving," said Eric Gordon, who is averaging 18.5 points per game, second on the Rockets to Harden's 30. "We got a little stagnant, a lot, in that Laker game. As long as we move the ball, that's what our offense is about."

We were horribly stagnant in the second half tonight, suprised this thread wasn't bumped.

Litterally every play over and over, bring it up the court slowly make one pass, go over one screen and shot which led to a **** load of bricked shots.

Slow pace, no passes, no offball movement. Really shity ultra milk hair offense tonight. I couldn't believe MDA let that happen for two whole quarters straight. If this team doesn't start to pass and run plays we will suck ass.
