Since both picks we received from the Knicks are lottery protected to some extent ('11 top 1, '12 top 5), does it really matter what year we have the picks or what year Wall comes out? Unless you think Wall wouldn't be the top pick, then those picks wouldn't get us Wall either way.

Truthfully, I doubt that the Rockets retain those picks. I believe that their most likely used as trade chips.

 

There are a lot of delusional posters starting unnecessary threads. It gets so frustrating seeing the front page get so cluttered again and again and again

Didn't the Rockets have a similar situation with the lottery draft the year we got Yao?I could be mistaken but I thought we got lucky with the pecking order there too.Maybe not as big a jump as it would be this year but still a big jump.

Do you guys realize that if we just miss out on a playoff spot and then get the top spot in the lottery we'll get John Wall? That's only two things that need to happen for us to get John Wall!
