I'm clean shaven, but my facial hair grows fast. Normally, I will not shave on the weekends starting with Friday, and I'll resume shaving on Sunday (if I go to church) or Monday morning. By the time I shave again, I already have a pretty good beard going. I just wouldn't want to keep it because it would be hard to manage and it would probably itch all the time.
Naw Manny, beards aren't that hard to manage. Take it from me, I've had varying degrees of beard for 20 years. I've gone from ZZ Top-style to close cropped to goatee and mustache...and then back to Top-style..It just depends on how I feel. Right now I'm sporting a close cropped barely there beard, but wjo knows...By the time you see me at Smeggys game...I might be ZZ Top again Here's a look for ya...Shave that thinnin head..and grow a full beard..You can look like that guy in "The Fish That Saved Pittsburg" LOL! btw...what was that guy's name...I dont remember, it's been a long time since I've seen that one..
I have a beard, but I've been meaning to get rid of it for a while now...It's become rather unmanageable lately...
Permanent 5:00 shadow (even after I shave). It's a b**** having pale skin and thick black facial hair. If only the hair on my temple matched the hair on my face.
I'm clean shaved, but I'm down with growing it out every once in a while. What I do hate is when guys try to grow out their facial hair, or lack their of, and it just looks ridiculous. Also, have you seen those guys who grow it out and don't bother triming it up. It looks like ****.
Ever since I was young and saw Astros players like Bagwell and Caminitti with their mustache-connected-to-goatee looks (which is what I've had for the past couple years) I couldn't wait 'til I got facial hair. Now I wish it would all go away. Shaving is the devil.
Goatee and mustache, had them since I graduated from high school in May 2000. They wouldnt let you have any facial hair there.
I have a goatee... I've had it for most of 4 years. I experimented with a full beard for a while, but I think I looked like a mountain man.
I didn't have to *think*, I did! Imagine a 6'2" 245..with long(middle back) hair and a full beard (almost to my chest). I got greetings from ppl ranging from " Hey, You kinda look like Jesus" to "Hey Grizzly, how's it goin"
I have been clean shaven for a while, but I'm starting to work on a beard. Even after I shave I it looks like it's been 8 hours since I last shaved. What I usually do is grow out a beard then it ends up turning into sideburns and a goatee. After that phase I alternate between losing the sideburns or the goatee. My plan as of today is to see how good of a beard I can grow out in two weeks and see what my "friend" thinks of it. After she tells me what she thinks, I'll do the opposite of what she suggests, just for fun. B
Beard. Always kept neatly trimed. When I shave my head this New Years Eve (I'm going bald quick), I'll probably go with the Goatee.
Doesn't it bother any of you that everybody has a goatee? How many people in this thread? I won't grow one for the simple fact that everyone else has one -- well that and because it looks kinda sissy. I want a moustache, but my wife insists I'd look really sleazy like that so I refrain. So for now, I alternate between shaven and unshaven about every 3 days. Shaving is only fun when you've got some nice long whiskers to cut off.
The same as giddyup and about half the other people in this thread. The goatee and the 'stache dont really connect though. I just recently shaved off the full beard. As for everyone having it, I am the only one at work with a goatee. My brother grew one to copy me at home though.
