No offense bra, but Tech was in the top 25 in business schools in 96, when I graduated. And that would've made you 9.

Logically? We are talking about sports, and Tech has a legit shot of beating every team on its schedule. Only someone who went to a school with an attrocious record year in and year out where they know they will lose to any decent team can think logically about sports.

Back in 96, I heard tech was so awesome that Goldman Sachs bankers were jetting down to Lubbock on weekends for their executive MBA.

Sadly it has recently declined. :(

On that last OU touchdown, the RG was moving, should not have counted and been illegal motion on OU...

Not sure where to look it up, but it was ranked top 25 in business when I graduated.

And I went to Morgan Stanley. I was offered an analyst position at Everen, who I believe got sucked up by Wachovia now.

Stupidest decision I ever made. And I've made a lot of stupid decisions.

    Description
One of the most blatantly Homerisitc Jeff Van Gundy worshiping sites around. Also extremely racist and paranoid. Anyone critiquing Tracy McGrady is automatically branded a "Yao Ming worshipper," and anyone questioning how Van Gundy used players like Bostjan Nachbar, Bonzi Wells, Steve Novak or Vassilis Spanoulis is automatically branded either a "nutsack rider" or a "Jeff Van Gundy hater." In particular, the site is infamous for its xenophobic and arrogant Greek hating ways, mostly attributed to the member Sam Fisher[1] as well as numerous other self-described "ignorant and proud of it Texans," and also for its constant belittling of independent views and members that have actually picked up a basketball at least once in their lives before posting on the forum.

The site is also well known for its tremendous hatred of anything fact related if it makes Jeff Van Gundy the former coach of the Houston Rockets look less than Messiah-like in any way at all. Despite numerous reports of the coach's arrogant and very simplistic mind, along with his obvious Napoleon Complex most members of the site have elevated him to deity-like status. Anyone that expresses a basic logic, rationale, ability to form complete sentences, have an original thought, or even show that they realize that basketball is a sport where a round ball goes through a round hoop is immediately singled out as being "a site troll."

The site's owner David Hardisty does whatever the Rockets tell him to do, which includes banning any member that posts anything that the team does not want aired to the public. However, the site "claims" that it is a 100% fan site. This of course despite the fact that many of the front office members of the Rockets as well as the former coach Van Gundy and also members of his family post on the site and only propagate their own fascist views about the direction of the team. Not surprisingly, anyone disagreeing with their holier than holy "opinions" is summarily banned by Hardisty, whom himself is nothing more than a company stooge. It should also be noted that Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, the two biggest stars of the Rockets team have both said that the site is basically a ridiculous PR shill and a complete joke, considering that it promotes itself as being an "independent" media member.

    You're just brilliant.

You aren't aware of analyst positions, are you?

Look, dude, I really try to ignore your constant baiting. Quite frankly, you can be humorous at times. But for some reason, you can't ever post something that isn't a joke at someone's expense, which is incredibly surprising considering you post 12 times a day on here, which I believe is a record.

Look, you say you're a lawyer, yet I've yet to see anything substantive on that matter. Quite frankly, you appear to be an out of work loser who spends hours here trying to come up with the next verbal barb to stab someone with.

Jig is up, Johnny. I think you are a fraud. Or at least in what you portray yourself to be.

If you are accusing me, I would like you to please get off my tip. I have never edited a wiki in my life. Also, your in-passing commentary of stuff that has nothing to do with you in this thread is laughable.

I would be out of work, because I really don't like working, and that combined with a lower tier education would have been tough. Fortunately I did just enough to avoid that so I can pretty much coast from here on out on my resume, which fortunately, does not depend on some made-up 1996 ranking of regional schools.

Don't you have some cold-calls to make?

"Sir, can I have a moment of your time to let me tell you about some exciting opportunities in the equity markets!!!"

An internet where you have to prove your identity to other random weirdos on a message board is one that no one needs

I tried to meet NewYorker once but he didn't show. On top of that I had to foot Ottomaton's plane ticket :(

So what is your cold-calling technique? The best ones that I've heard are the guys who pretend that they are calling you with a real work matter. Dishonest but it can be effective.

P.S. Texas Tight Ends are destroying OU. Good playcalling.

On a serious note, I rarely cold-call anymore. But occasionally some buddies of mine will ask me to. I'm good at it.

Did I have to originally? You bet. What did you have to do? Quite frankly, what have you ever done.

And sorry, Droopy, but I don't like people who pretend to be what they aren't.
