I know what you mean, man. I hate it when my friends get married.

T_J: First Waco, now this. We're agreeing just a little too much for my tastes these days.

Eyerolling sux. I can't stand losers who use it.

Let your sarcasm speak on it's own. If you have to indicate it, it's not very good. Let the guys who can't get it get roasted on their own by subsequent posters. The board will police it's own.

Personally, I dislike all smilies. But that's me. They're not going anywhere. I have to use them now, like Microsoft.

I agree completely that the eyeroll does little more than just create animosity in threads rather than good discussion. In fact, I once considered requesting that it be taken off the smilie menu for the same reasons you state. But then I thought, who the hell am I to preach post etiquette

I will say one thing though, the eyeroll pisses me off so much when its used against me. Its so dumb. So, I need to retaliate by doing it back to that person.

I was actually thinking about this concept earlier and I totally agree to you. Putting that rollingeye smiley in a post means nothing unless there is reason behind it.

People's arguments that it is used to detect sarcasm are true. But, sarcasm is so overused on this board that I would not miss it at all if it left with this smiley..... if you really want to make sure people know its sarcasm just end your post in "/sarcasm"
