During press conferences, we always hear Kubiak say, "It's on me."
It's amazing(and sad) how everyone across the country can see the problem, the lack of LEADERSHIP from the coaching staff; yet the owner just wants to sweep the issues right under his Persian rug. Rant aside, it truly is on Kubiak. He needs to reinvent himself, like bill belichick did after going 5-11 in his last season with the Browns.

Ideally, this reinvention of Kubiak would take place in a land far far away, away from Houston. But life isn't fair, especially when you have owners that place a strong value on what their competition has to say.

So the question is, what can Kubiak do to improve as a head coach and lead this team?

To me, his quest for "balance" really disrupts what an offense blessed with AJ, Foster and schaub can do. Maybe he should pull a Castanza and do the opposite of everything? Instead of the field goal superstition, he should actually watch the kick? Maybe pull a bill walsh and spend his free time in the library reading military history?

Whatever it is..Kubiak needs a makeover ASAP.

Not gonna happen. How many times has he been in a conference and said "that something that I (or we the coaches) need to work on" only to go out and continue to repeat the same mistake?

I think Kubiak knows he needs to get better as a coach but I don't think he knows how to do it.

We need a coaching coach for our coach so that he can learn to coach better.

If he doesn't realize this team has be competitive in its own division to make it to the next level then he can't be helped. 5 seasons and they find themselves on the bottom again. Some of the worst losses over his tenure have been divisional games, which is not clutch.

    agreed.
Now a meaningless win of the Jags will make them 3-3
Only 1 of the 3 wins was worth anything
in fact. . this last win will screw up the draft pick
