Extension for RA.. Talks continue with Assistants [CHRON]

    If I had to guess, it's that they're going to see how he performs next year with Yao and whomever DM brings us in this trade season as well as the summer.

    Still I'm glad at least for this extension; I think he's done a really good coaching job the last two years.

    Sorry, I disagree. RA and his staff deserve to have their contracts torn up and replaced with longer and better term contracts. They have earned every bit of it.

    And to think I thought it was a bad hire.

    Great extensions. But since it's only for 1 year, I think Les is giving RA a year with Yao on this team before giving him a long term contract.

    If it doesn't work out with Yao it won't be Adelman's fault, he still deserves a longer deal IMO. What if he decides HE wants to go?

    The reason it was for one year is because it was essentially a team option so there were no negotiations. I promise you there will be talking about another contract as long as we make the playoffs.
