yes, but we need for him to do it quick because we're in 10th place and the season is going by fast....we don't have that much time..IT'S TIME..!!! NOW !!!!
Could that unique talent be whining and not getting out of the first round ? I like Tmac as much as the next Rocket fan (especially because of work he's now doing for the people in Darfur), but maybe it's time to cut our losses if it doesn't work out when he comes back.
In your original post you said nobody on the bulls would fit our system, and that's how I responded with Gordon. I am aware of the fact that Gordon is probably not half as talented/physically gifted as Tmac but he would fit in our system quite well as a good contributor, scorer. Obviously Tmac will get more than Gordon in return.
PG Hinrich and PF Nocioni would be good for us, not sure if that is fair compensation for TMac though, they may have to throw in a draft pick
Thomas and Deng would be the only fair scenario. The potential of those two players is overrated IMO, Chicago needs to stop holding onto Deng like he is a superstar in the making. He is simply an efficient, powerful, scorer. Never going to do much else. Ideally a 3rd option player.
Same here. It's waaaay too early to actually take this seriously. From both a fan and gm perspective it's best to see how Tmac comes back into the fold.
wow, you'd rival isaiah thomas for the worst GM in the league if you did that trade. Deng+Hinrich+2 1st rounders IMO
What does exploratory trade talks mean anyway? What exactly can be accomplished in a talk like that? Wouldn't this piss Tmac off and thus giving **** effort on the court? (not that I care if he's pissed or not)
I dont want Hinrich because he is in his first year of a 5 year contract worth almost 50 million. Joakim Noah will develop into a solid PF and Ben Gordon is an upgrade over Head at SG. Chicago would probably have throw something else like a draft pick to make the trade work but its better than trading for Hinrich, and they are not going to trade Deng.
give us luol deng and andres nocioni and you got a deal. neither of those guys have the kinda health problems tmac does. we're lookin good right now, throw in nocioni's hustle and deng's scoring ability and we'll be lookin pretty good.
How many guys can score 40 points in a night, or actually lead the league in scoring, like TMac did earlier in the season? Some of you guys are like someone who marries Marilyn Monroe, who impulsively dumps her, when she's not available, just because you're hot to trot and she isn't. You're like jilted lovers. Geez. TMac came to camp ready to play. For the first couple weeks, he was playing better than anyone in the league. We stood at 6-1. He carried us. But, he got tired of no one hitting their shots when he passed it out to them trying to do it Adelman's way. I don't think he lost confidence in Adelman, he lost confidence that the rest of the team, excluding Yao, was or would get it. It was a very frustrating experience for him, and then he played with 3 injuries, trying to continue carrying the team. That's not someone who's soft. Those of you who call him SheMac are WAY off base at this time. If he doesn't get pissed off at all the fans turning on him, then hopefully he'll be excited that the rest of the team has finally started getting it, and go back to playing like he did at the beginning. If the whole team gels and plays Adelman's way, and hit's their shots, instead of everyone double and triple teaming Yao and TMac, daring anyone else to hit a shot, then TMac should shine. If you then see that TMac and Yao just aren't the pair to take us all the way, then you can consider trading TMac, after he's doing well, not when he's just been injured. Now, if we were to make a trade, CHI might just be the one to make it with. But, after they turned down Kobe, unwilling to trade their best player for the best player in the league, I seriously doubt they'd make a trade with us that is fair. They're too burned on losing Brand and Chandler. But to be fair, it would have to start with Deng, perhaps Hinrich, and other trade fillers, and not include the over the hill guy. That would only happen if we are dealing from a position of strength, not weakness.
i don't really want anything from chicago, and t-mac is a whole lot better then anyone on their team. he's both smart and talented, he should be able to fit in with this team before too long.
Deng, Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, and 2 1st round picks and lots of cash for TMAC and 2nd round pick if we get anything short i will be pissed!
If we had Gordon, Hinrich, and Thomas, and you had the opportunity to trade them to Chicago for Tracy McGrady, how many of you would say no? 'Nuff said.
