DA hasn't gotten much PT either. If you are too narrow minded and judge players based on limited playing time after 8 games, that's your problem. He wasn't brought here to be an all star, but a back up C. He's got a good resume and needs to get NBA experience under his belt before people start saying "this guy is just bad." A quarter or half season mark would be a better gauge at seeing how he is developing.
Agreed. He needs time to get to know his teammates and the offense. I don't think anyone expected him to be an all-star. Scola started off slow and I wouldn't be surprised to see some old posts of people saying he sucked. Give him some time. He looks to me to be a good shooter but is confused in the offense. He has some decent post moves but he will never dominate down low and he's not much of a rebounder. His defense should get better when he becomes more familiar with NBA rules and ,again, his teammates so he knows where to be on his help defense.
You see!! I am from Argentina and i watched a lot of ACB and Euroleague games, Andersen is a good player, he will be better with time. You have to give time to Euro players because we play differently (i mean we because here in argentina is FIba game) in Fiba the contact is allowed more than in the NBA, the moving screens until recently were legal. The ball moves a lot more, there are a lot less volume scorers. I tell you, this guy must have a lot in his head while playing, he has to make some things "automatic" before he starts playing up to his potential.
Haha this is true. I remember a rowing coach once telling me men can only think about one thing at once, and its normally sex...which means every other function has to be programmed and automatic. Let DA program himself before judgment.
Dude, he's had other things on his mind. Had to take part in the Australian Open in his home country last week in between games!
