Yes, I read all those times you said this issues goes back before caffeine consumption. But guess what, you aren't the only person that isn't a morning person. Hell, most people aren't. They still get up everyday and do what they need to do. This reminds me of a thread a while back where a guy was blaming his inability to wake up on time in the mornings on some type of medical problem. I was like no, there is something called responsibility. But at least you're waking up, you just feel "sluggish".

lol you sound like the laziest person alive without your "fixes". is there any time in the day where you aren't sluggish?

I think it's protein for breakfast. It keeps you full until lunch and gives the body enough time to break it down for that afternoon push.

I'm still pushing the drinking half a cup in morning, the other half in the afternoon route. The body will adjust in a week or so, and if it doesn't it means you're not getting enough sleep or not drinking enough coffee.

From what I remember observing him that week it definitely looked like some sort of withdrawal. But like any drug, I would guess caffeine can have different levels of effect on different people and his particular case may have been more on the severe side...

Way to backtrack and switch gears after getting called out for not reading/failing to comprehend the point of the thread.

Not sure how 'responsibility' has any relevance here, except to give you a convenient escape route. I never said I didn't 'get up everyday and do what need to do', but nice leap of logic.

Because of a query into suggested avenues for improved morning/mid-afternoon cognition, you've somehow deduced that I'm lazy and sluggish the entire day. Brilliant. Again, reading comprehension is not an enemy - it's a friend.

Yea, it's protein in the morning and then protein with lunch or mid-afternoon snack. The chemical process of breaking down carbohydrates causes drowsiness.
