Beside Spoon - Who's contract expires after next year? Which rocket players makes sense (real) in a sign and trade?

But do we have team options on the last years? Realgm and Bender don't show it (hoopshype does for Mooch), but I am fairly sure we have team options on both which of course will be declined, making them expring contracts.

    05-06 Salaries are:
    CW 6.35
    DW 4.95
    MN 4.2
    VB 3.9
    CW 1.9

Remember the new rule if you are over the cap only have to be within +/- 25% on trades.

That adds up to over $21MM. We may be able to offer someone the full MLE next year if CW or DW stay on the roster the whole season, which is unlikely.

How much of that 21 mill would Yao's max eat up?

I don't know everything about the salary cap, but I do know the plan is to sign Yao for the maximum this summer so he does not become a RFA next summer. I'm not sure if his new contract will eat into the possible $21MM opening up next summer.
