These 2 games are sickening...the reason is that we're right there to win...but time and time again failed to play D. If they play Yao, they would have owned the Warriors...too bad Rockets are not looking to win...but to stay healthy.
I tuned into the game towards the end of the 3rd quarter and noticed Yao hadn't played and ended up not playing at all. I know they are just easing him back into game form by resting him but was curious if they reported or stated this would be a common occurence early in the season on back-to-backs?
Lots of Chicken Littles on this board.. We lose by 2 points to the defending champions on the night the unfurl their banner. The very next night we lose to a team that gets 71 points at 60% shooting from 2 players.. People need to relax or just stop posting please. I don't think I'm on my own in saying that there is too much negativity on this board. Every person starting a new thread about, Battier being done, Brad Miller being too old. Yao being too slow. Please relax!!
lol i knew ppl would be overreacting on here....im upset too..but we lost 2 close games....both to good teams. we'll be alright tho..but it does really suck bc we could have won both of these games...sigh...
I though we would win like 55 to 57 games this yr with Yao back but it look like yao will only plat 35 to 45 games this season. Now I think we will win only 30 to 35 games these first 2 games showed me we really do not have anything goes for us its like we took 2 steps back
It's called venting, and it's possibly the most valuable service that Clutch provides us with. So release all your hate and frustration tonight before bed and wake up refreshed tomorrow thinking about how hungry the Toyota Center crowd will be for a win when Denver comes to town! to be honest fans should temper their expectations, we are the same 42-40 team when Yao is not in....I think Rockets will go 48-34 this year, like many analysts have predicted. Even as high as 52-32 if our bench and K.Mart really click with the rest of the cast.
I don't have a problem with that. But why, oh why do people have to start new threads for it. I'm happy if everyone vents in the Game Analysis thread, which is for analysis of the game.
