Did I say Charlotte would be able to deal Cato for a starting caliber sf(well maybe starting caliber for an expansion team...)? We could deal him easily, if all we wanted was a free draft pick, an expiring contract + a little more. The following "big's" will be RFA's or UFA's next summer: Mark Blount / Loren Woods / Samaki Walker / Dalibar Bagaric / Bruno Sundov / Zelijko Rebraca / Jeff Foster / Sean Rooks / Ken Johnson / Greg Oestertag / Keon Clark / Peja Drobnjak why are you bringing up crap like Blount, Woods, Walker, Sundov, etc? I'm not as high on Cato as some but he is clearly a class above them. Out of those, Rebraca(if healthy), Foster, Ostertag, and Keon(even though he's not really a center) are somewhat close or equal to Cato's talent. The rest are bums or close to it. In addition, the following players have 2004-05 contracts but are dangerously close to the #8 bump spot on their respective teams - Elden Campbell, Joel Pryzbilla, Shawn Bradley and Lo Wright. Wright will not be exposed. If the rest are, I doubt anyone would want them with the possible exception of Bradley. Campbell, because he will have proven he is too old. Pryz, because he sucks. If you want to believe that Kelvin Cato will be the best value among next summer's unprotected bigs, we will just have to agree to disagee. Will he be the best value in in a draft/trade for the bobcats? I don't know. Could he be? It's definitely possible, something you seem to be unwilling to admit for whatever reason.
