Exercising patience

    I also hope the coaches have patience, not way too eager to prove themselves by over-playing Harden simply for a better win-loss record this season.

    I hope everybody remains healthy until we are able to collect all the pieces required, then let's push them for the Ring!

    Ah, the periodic and predictable "patience" post. Maybe if you started following the Rockets a year or two ago, but, no, I won't be patient. With Les and Morey, I may not live long enough to a serious playoff run. I started following the Rockets when they moved from San Diego. Since Les took over, patience has been the "watch word." Why? Because Les took a championship team and turned it into a lotto team, year after year, season after season. How long has Uncle (dufus) Les' reign been? I have lost count. Fifteen years? Eighteen years? I may not live long enough to ever see the Rockets do anything. Patience? I think not.

    On the other hand, I think the current Rockets roster is a little lack of fire. A strong personality like Cousins may help a lot in the playoffs. Just be careful that the chemistry is OK after adding him.
