Griffin would fit next to Parsons too. Not only does he have chemistry w/Lin (on and off court, saw them both cutting it up on the bench) but Griffin appears to be friends with Parsons as well. Long shot, but Griffin is the guy that Morey should be targeting. Maybe not this year, but he will become available soon. Sterling is just a lousy owner.
I concur, Parsons is the only returning starter in the starting 5. Play, develop chemistry, add more quality and win the title in 3 years. Reaching the play-offs to make up the numbers is not in our interest. It is all about the rings. ; )
I think you take a run at signing Chris Paul this offseason, and pitch him on a Paul -Harden backcourt. Then you use the rest of our assets to get tht 3rd option, or hold them if they are developing into stars. Chris Pul is only 27.
Nah, people are pissed because our soft PF avg's 10 less boards than Love. Even Love's D is suspect, it's still better than AzzPatter
I think both Howard & Paul are set with not leaving LA. They both know what they have on their teams, so why would they leave for a unknown team like Houston. Morey needs to target a player in a bad spot. Love,Wall,Cousins, lol I'd love to get Lowry back,David Lee,Greg Monroe.
I dont think youre too off here.... I like this team.... the bench could be stronger....i think there are 4 really good starters on this team..osik, harden parsons and Lin....these guys are good.. THIS IS A PLAYOFF TEAM> they will surprise some teams by the end of the year if everyone stays healthy
oh and by the way, IF Lin were scoring 5 more points a game he would be in that elite status....great defender, good passer and scores 16 a game. I think thats where he will be at by the end of the seasom...15 and 10 a game..plus he can rebound....and hes one of the best man defenders in the NBA
Parsons is perfect fit at the 3, utility type guy and chemistry guy. The perfect 4 is a guy who can post/spread the defense and is a great rebounder and outlet passer... Hm, where can we find a guy like that?
D-Mo meets 3 of those 4 requirements, with the one missing requirement being a great rebounder. Although I think he can become an average to slightly above average rebounder.
With Asik in the middle, great rebounding is not a priority at the 4. Currently, the Rockets are 4th in the league in defensive rebounding as a team, which is pretty damn impressive considering how they almost always have one or two players leak out for a transition score.

Too bad we can't combine DMo and TRob into one player because then we would have our complete PF of the future
