Gasol and Zach are beasts down low? Since when did "down low" stretch out to 18 ft.

I do not know why you are still talking. Didn't you eat your crow the other night when Yao destroyed Celtics ? I would shut myself up for a while.

No way he deserves MVP talk this year. If the team was sporting the best record in the west? Then yes. The best player on the best team (Tmac just hasn't been himself this year) just about always deserves some consideration. He isn't good enough of a player to get it by monster numbers alone.

No he gets the ball stolen too easily, gets blocked too easily, Plays soft. His D sucks. I like yao but hes not on the same level he was 2 years ago. I have seen a few lakers games and i hate to admit it but Pau Gasol is better than him.

There are some games where he seems like the best center in the league and then the next few games he plays like a scrub. If he were consistent then maybe he would have a chance at MVP

Until he can consistently get at least 20pts, 10 rebs and 3 blks per game, He shouldn't be mentioned.

don't care if he can win MVP. For this time, for now, he is MVP...

Hope I don't jinx it... I just felt it took Yao much longer to get up once he falls down as of late...

That is not determined by himself only. It's determined by the team stragegy. When T-mac and Ron are on the court, how many shots can Yao get a game? Now Yao just has 11 to 12 shots per game. If only the team wins, he has done his best in my opinion.
