Maybe our society should do better to educate people about what can happen if you rape someone and what constitutes sexual harassment.

 

Are you his dad? This was the disgusting argument he was trying to make...and it's a level of horse s*** never seen before. First, he wasn't up for a life sentence. It was 14 years. Second, 6 months (likely only 3) is insanely out of whack for what others would've received or did receive for the same or lesser sexual based crimes. Who gives a s*** that he'll have a hard time getting a job. His family is apparently loaded and will obviously cover for him. So, he'll still get to live in a nice place and likely not have to worry about finding a job. If he does, it will be one of daddy's friends that will look past his crimes. This isn't some poor person that will have to get a job at a fast food joint and live in a halfway house.

 

Hopefully the people calling out the dad will also call out someone like Hillary Clinton. Rape is rape. Even if you are president, sexual assault and rape should be taken as sexual assault and rape.

You missed my point. I wish he would get 6 years for what he did but 6 months or 6 years, that's not the real punishment for sexual offenders. After he gets out of jail he serves a different social punishment for the rest of his life. He gets to wear a Scarlet R for the rest of his life and I am just pondering the justice of that. We don't have a registry for murderers after they get out of jail. You can't find out how many murderers are living next door. This guy might do better than average after he gets out because his family is a 1%er but for your average person, they might as well be under house arrest for the rest of their life.

I didnt know Bill was convicted of Rape? Most of the women had agendas or just wanted money. Bill Clinton may be a low life and horn dog, but rapist is not proven.

I think the father's letter is more appalling than the verdict
