I think you all know how I voted.... ;)

You'll never find a more passionate old Oiler fan than me. When we played the Steelers in the AFC championship in 78, my Dad, after seeing that I wasn't wearing any Oiler shirts or hats, took me out to buy some gear 15 minutes before kickoff. He said I couldn't watch the game until I had Oiler gear on.

When they left, I had no reason to root for them anymore. I tried to follow the Saints, since they were the closest team (besides the crackboys) to Houston, but their games were never on TV here.

I am a major Texans fan, but it still feels pretty new to me. The passion I had with the Oilers isn't there for the Texans because, in order to have passion for a team, you have to experience major highs and lows.

Since we're basically still and expansion team, I have yet to experience those highs and lows....yet. Once we make the playoffs and start getting some respect, look out.

I am a HUGE Texans fan. I followed the Titans briefly while we had no team (in the sad days between the Oilers and the Texans...Tenn was my second favorite team...behind whoever was playing against the Cowboys)

I am not sure my Texans zealotry is quite up there with how I lived and died with the Oilers. But its gotta be close.

Simply put, I root for the city, not for the team. Thus, I am a Texans fan. Like Jeff said, if the Rockets/Texans/Astros ever moved from Houston, I would no longer actively root for the team. The end. KTHXBYE.

i was a huge titans fan because of the players that had played for us for so long. i enjoyed their run to the superbowl. once the majority of the players left, i made the transition back to the texans. it was a hard transition though.

i believe a lot of houston fans would do the same thing if the rockets left next season and yao & tmac played for another 5-7 years and went to the finals with a different city. (i pray that doesn't happen of course)

I was a die hard Oilers fan. And I support neither the Titans or the Texans.

The Titans are just not the same team as the Oilers, and it's hard to get attached to the Texans when they make force their fans to endure an atrocious season and then blow a golden draft opportunity.

Why would anyone from Houston root for a team in Tennessee? Regardless of them being the former Oilers, they are no longer in Houston and will not get any love from me.

I support Houston's team. Not Bud Adam's team.

I used to root for the titans, but mcnair was the last player who played in houston so I don't follow them much anymore, just to keep up with vince young.

I was a die hard oilers fan and when the oilers left i continued to root for the Oilers/Titans and still do today. Friends have called me traitors and what not, but it doesnt bother me. I try rooting for the Texans but I just cant get into them, dont get me wrong i hate bud adams for moving the texans but the city of houston let them go at the same time. we wasted 4 years becasue the mayor/owner didnt get along and wouldnt build a new stadium yet we ended up building a brand new one years later? makes a lot of sense...

    Go Titans

with the exception of the Astros, i feel the exact same way. i'm fairly certain if the 'stros bolted town (which is beyond unthinkable for me), i'd still be a 'stros fan...at least until we got a new team. seriously, it's too painful for me to even think about that.

I'm an Oilers fan and an Adams hater. Titans, Texans... eh.

The only tema for me has players named Bethea, Mauck, Renfro, Brazile, Barber, Burrough, Johnson, and of course, Campbell...

I'm far from a 'homer' but when Buttkiss Adams pulled his sh*t for the second time in less than a decade, I said " dont let the door hit you in the ass."

McNair and Fisher good guys and they deserved better.

But now I'm a Texans fan and though to some it may be blind faith, I believe Kuby's our man and will lead us to reapectability and ultimately to playoff contention.

He's already turning Carr into a respectable NFL caliber QB.

Dont be surprised if some of their bandwaggoner fans jump ship after their performance in SD. The Titans and the Raiders are making us look good. For what it's worth. :D

Just got home from the game and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Titans get their asses beat more than I have seen a team beaten in a long time at the professional level, and I have watched most Texans games the last couple years so that is saying something.

I cringed watching people at the game today wearing Moon jerseys supporting the Titans. I don't know how you can root for them if you are from Houston.

I've been a Texans fan since the beginning. However, I also rooted for the former Oilers players. Now that the last Oiler player has departed, I have no ties to the Titans. I have always hated Bud A$$hole (did I misspell Adams? :D )

    Where is the "Neither" option?

My loyalty is to the STL Rams for denying Bud Adams the Super Bowl trophy.

I followed the "Tennessee Oilers" for a few years after they moved. I lost interest for a while and just enjoyed football in general. Once the Texans came around they instantly became my new team.
