Surely the cops that shot up the wrong truck will be fired/charged right? We all know it will be "adminstrative leave with pay". And that's the problem with the system that is being exposed. Doesn't make the guy killing family members right though.
Unreal. So out of fear of this man who is trying to expose their reckless and unaccountable behavior, they opened fire on a truck without knowing who was in it? I found it interesting watching Nightline last night. They did discuss some of the details of his manifesto, but clung to the talking point that this was about losing his job. There are no justifications for what he's doing, however painting him as maniacal over being fired is a little oversimplified and misleading.
The police want him dead rather than alive. He's definitely got 6 stars on him now. Time to hide in the statue of Liberty..
Not to make lite of the situation, but did anybody else felt a Dark Knight vibe while reading that manifesto?
This guy might have had a legit complaint or not, but he immediately discredited anything he had to say when he became more of a monster than any perceived LAPD monster. Therefore his manifesto is garbage and I won't even acknowledge any point of view he had by wasting my time reading it. I hope this is resolved without further bloodshed.
this is not a Hollywood movie. this is not a hero cop vigilante. this is a homegrown terrorist with a hit list and a vendetta. I am aware of corruption within the LA police ranks but sheesh people think that they saw Training Day and they understand what's really going on in the LAPD

many people on the Internet. the anti police sentiment is prevalent in every online story about this guy. cue a banned Liberon. and more and more comments about how the cops shot the wrong people. that's what a fear mongering cop killing ex cop does to a community.
Vigilante justice is the only justice. You're naive if you believe the state provides any justice. The guy seems to be taking care of the problem, no? If bad cops are dead, they can't be bad, and if the bad ones know there will be consequences, perhaps they'll change their ways. A bull**** trial and suspension won't do that, my friend.
While I really hope this guy gets caught without any more murders, the mistake of shooting at the two asian ladies delivering newspapers is very amateurish. As someone who worked night shift, recognizing the newspaper person is a normal...there are not that many people out at night. For the cops to be totally surprised by that and shooting into the truck is major incompetence at the very least. Not only do those ladies deserve huge financial compensation, but those cops deserve to at least be fired if not prosecuted.
I hear you, though I haven't heard anyone call him a hero. Still, don't you think them shooting up a truck of innocent people is worthy of comment, especially considering his anger over their perceived excessive force in the past? It's not some kind of misplaced validation about him, it's "Holy $#@! what are they thinking?". I get they're scared, I'm scared for them. Tragedy abounds with this situation. Hopefully he will be stopped before anyone else is harmed.
Read his manifesto, not all the way, but skimmed through it. Can tell the guy is an idealist and could be a wonderful human being given the right situation. Tragic.
