Why? Why not send a missile instead of dozens of cops shooting? Plus, haven't we already blown up US citizens before with drones?
Sorry if already posted, but FOX is reporting that he had a couple hostage for a few days not too far from the command center. Then today, he makes a run for it with a stolen truck and gets spotted by a Fish & Wildlife cop driving on the road and gets into the gun fight that has lead to the current situation. Who goes on the run, then travels during the daylight? That's not smart.
I guess he wasn't as smart as people thought he was. He could very well just kill himself before they get to him.
I doubt many are truly rooting FOR Dorner. But I have no doubts there are communities/neighborhoods of people, terrorized for years by LAPD, who are rooting AGAINST LAPD. It is a kinda enemy of the enemy is my friend thing. Dorner needs to be taken down. Hopefully alive, so law enforcement comes out "above the violence" so to speak.

Doubt there are a lot of people rooting for Dorner. But, people will be interested to see how LAPD handle it, and if they just gun him down and deny him due process, it'll confirm a lot of what people already think is wrong with the police department. It could be a Waco scenario: they shoot in tear gas to incapacitate him and then the tear gas combusts with an open fire inside the cabin. Maybe?
