These list are always up for debate, it is just a list that some people made.

We could also make a top 100 movies of all time list. and that would be just as impressive as this list.

You miss a couple of obvious movies
    The Shawshank Redemption
    Hotel Rwanda

and why is south park on there?

    These lists are ridiculous.

South Park is on the list?

City of God should be somewhere on there too.

    So...let's see what's missing.

    Shawshank Redemption
    A Beautiful Mind
    Forrest Gump
    American History X
    The Pianist
    Requiem for a Dream
    Reservoir Dogs
    Braveheart
    Hotel Rwanda
    The Green Mile
    Million Dollar Baby
    Platoon

    ...Wow.

Whoever made the list sucks at making lists.

Ok also noted that they dont have Blood Diamonds, and A Beautiful Mind, and that the "least good" Bourne movie (Supremacy) is the highest ranked one...

    lol

Isn't Toy Story 2 almost universally considered superior to Toy Story?

I don't understand the ranking system of this list. Seems almost arbitrary.

It's not a bad list, but there are some very questionable choices on there.

Rushmore might be one of the most overrated movies ever. It's a decent flick, but it doesn't belong among the Top 100 films since 1983.

I would personally go with Infernal Affairs over its remake, The Departed.

Among animated films, The Iron Giant belongs on there instead of Shrek. I love Shrek and yes it was a massive hit at the box office, but The Iron Giant is a genuine classic. It'll be remembered fondly 20 years from now while Shrek was already dated even before its first sequel was released.

Men In Black?! Are you kidding me? At 47, no less! Hell, if we're gonna include a 1997 summer hit about aliens, there's another film called Contact which would've been a much better choice.

Jerry Maguire is terrific, no doubt. But Say Anything is 100 times better and is nowhere to be found.

No need to rehash what Northside Storm mentioned in his post, but yes at least half of those movies should be on the list.
