Even if you do put the late 90s Rockets, not our championship era teams there cause you somehow feel its not appropriate to talk about when the Rockets were beating them consistently, its still 50%. that's with our old ass team.

I guess you forgot this too.

wow, now you're bringing in the Wizards' Jordan??? That's awesome.

You forget.....I've said about 4000 times, the Bulls also went .500 against your CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS WITHOUT MJ FOR ALL FOUR GAMES.

You keep saying I'm leaving stuff out, but what possible argument do you have for that FACT???

You know who won't post on this thread, but YOU KNOW what he REALLY THINKS about this subject..

    CLUTCH

I'm betting #1 knows what happened when the Dream (in his prime) faced the Bulls.

I thought Jordan only played 6 seasons according to you? I was making sure that you knew that Jordan decided to unretire again.

well, the topic Carmichael is Hakeem/Akeem vs Jordan's Bulls.

    WITHOUT MJ= not Jordan's Bulls.

this is great Carmichael! you show everyone how much people couldn't stand the Rockets Teams of the 90s. your passion shows!

On the other side of this arguement, the Rockets went .833 (5 out of 6 games) against the Bull's championship teams with Jordan (90/91 - 92/93)

    Thu, Jan 3, 1991 Chicago Bulls W 114 92
    Mon, Mar 25, 1991 @ Chicago Bulls W 100 90

    Sat, Jan 25, 1992 @ Chicago Bulls L 100 114
    Thu, Jan 30, 1992 Chicago Bulls W 105 102

    Fri, Dec 11, 1992 @ Chicago Bulls W 110 96
    Thu, Jan 28, 1993 Chicago Bulls W 94 83

I won't acknowledge the post 94/95 years, because frankly the Rockets weren't all that good during those years.

Now this is getting downright sad.

First you want to narrow your argument to pre-95, because those teams were "old".

Then not only do I go pre-95, I go to your CHAMPIONSHIP YEARS, which I think we can all agree were your best.

Then you tell me that doesnt count, because MJ wasnt playing.

So you're implying the Bulls were better without MJ? I don't get it.

But I have been in a fight before, and I do recognize when someone is running out of gas, and they feel beaten, they start grasping at the proverbial straws....

    So you mean:

"The Bulls went .833 in the regular season vs Jordan's championship Bulls teams on the first 3 peat, but we'll selectively leave out the 2nd 3-peat because the Rockets werent that good?"

Let's go apples to apples people.

You think I'm going to stop writing on this thread? I PURPOSELY put you here cause I know you won't stop talking about it, and sure won't stop talking.

You can post your own topics too. Yeah its fine but that's not the topic of the thread. Maybe you should start one called "ROCKETS VS BULLS -anytime period, any personnel"

    Wow,
from the Bulls staff AFTER the NBA Finals!!

    Paper: HOUSTON CHRONICLE
    Date: FRI 06/18/1993
    Section: Sports

    Edition: 2 STAR

Rockets would pose problems, Bulls aide says

    By EDDIE SEFKO
    Staff

CHICAGO -- Now that the NBA Finals have turned into a near-rout, the inevitable question is whether any team in the NBA could have been tougher on the Chicago Bulls than Phoenix.

Assistant coach John Bach didn't hesitate when asked the question.

"Oh, we've had our troubles with teams," Bach said. "Look at Houston. They've created a lot of problems for us.

"It's not that we don't have problems. We're mortal."

The Rockets won both meetings with the Bulls this season, by 14 points in Chicago and 11 at The Summit. The Rockets have won five of the six meetings in the last three seasons.

It is interesting to note that the team the Bulls have had the most trouble with in the playoffs, New York, is the team with the best center among opponents Chicago has had to face.

In winning two consecutive championships, the Bulls have faced Kevin Duckworth of Portland and Vlade Divac of the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals.

Hakeem Olajuwon averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds in the two regular-season meetings against the Bulls this season.

Those 95/96 - 97/98 years were the years without Vernon Maxwell and also with Matt Maloney running the point guard. They weren't the same team as before.

He doesn't know that. He just says it cause he knows that early Rockets had the Bulls number.

You can tell him that you agree that the late 90s Rockets had flaws but he won't stop talking about the late 90s, he must have a Y2k problem.

    T-mac4bigmac

    He's proving my point to a T.

That :#1 Jordan was invincible, they make excuses for 95, they never mention any seasons he lost in the playoffs, they never mention the teams that actually had problems with

#2 Try to invalid Rockets championships , purposely or not.

Think about that. Carmichael threw out the Rockets championships in a Dwight Howard thread. that's like I hate the Jazz, so I'm going to throw that out in a New York Knicks thread.

He's like Bob Costas after we won two in a row. He talked about Jordan.

Ok, but when we get to a point where Max and Maloney are central figures, there might be an issue.

Tinfoil, I'm SURE you wont quit posting, I've seen your kind before.

    Tap away, keyboard warrior....

Tap away, and yell and scream.

    Tap away, little warrior,

But there's only two titles for Dream.

    O' keyboard warrior,

You type and type all day.....

The trailer park's a lonely place,

    Better stay online today.

    Passionate keyboard warrior,

    Real life's such a bore.

    Accepting logic and real-life ways,

Seems like such a complete chore.

    Poor keyboard warrior,

The rest of the world laughed....

Better leave the debates to the big boys....

Go back to World of Warcraft.

    End of Line.

    Dude,
how many times do I tell you I play Street Fighter!
I don't play PC Games! The last one I played was Counterstrike that was good.

Maybe I love the Rockets and love the FACT that I knew they beat the Bulls back in the day in actual games, not 'what ifs'. If dropping 139 points on the Bulls in Chicago is not 'evidence of a whipping' then I don't know what is.

but please do tell us about Jordan and the Bulls and how NONE of those games ever happened. Cause you seem to not enjoy any of these Rocket victories.

I mean this is the Rockets site? for Rocket fans right? or maybe its a Bulls site/Sacramento talk radio site!

I guess you really DIDN'T enjoy those 90s Rockets are you claimed. I guess as long as I don't mention them beating the Bulls and post game recaps about it to Rocket fans, its good for all those Bulls fans here!

I also love the hatred you post of me, considering the only snipe I had is that you probably are roasting ostrich burgers ! :D

but don't be nice. I just want them to show the anger and hatred of the old Rockets teams coming from someone who claims he liked them.

You know if posted evidence of when the Rockets beat the Lakers, I probably would get some positive feedback. Cause man, you say something that the Rockets actually beat Michael Jordan,

that's like a sin like the Pet Shop Boy song!

    Annnnd ITTTTTSSSS ALLLLLLL OOOOOOVERRRRRR!!!

The victory is complete!! Whenver someone goes to the "THIS IS A (insert team) SITE!!!" card, that always means they're beaten.

Dude, YOU BROUGHT ME IN HERE. I didnt come on the board looking for this. I said something in another thread to show how dumb this guy's logic was, and you dragged me into this thread. I had no choice but to steal it for you and claim it as my own. Sorry.

Victory? I guess its it a victory you proved that Michael Jordan won 6 titles and that they faired better against the Rockets in the late 90s.

    Hahahahaha

I didn't even read that Howard thread. what was the logic he was saying?

I purposely put you here to restart this thread and make sure that it last til the end of time. so I got my victory. I couldn't find anyone who love the Bulls so much that they want to dis spell ANY NOTION that the Rockets EVER BEAT THE BULLS.

Man this was so easy. did you see how many times you posted here? I love it dude!

Carmichael you're my favorite poster. I can always count on you now to post anytime I mention the early 90s and the Rockets!
