    Five stars.

    Tinman's my hero.

    Edit:
BTW, for all you doubters, look up Dream's stats: they went up n the post season. He was monster.

Y'all know how people like to say how Bill Russell was the only player who could stop Wilt? Kinda like Max on MJ. Wilt and MJ would still get their numbers, but Russell and Max sure as hell made them work for them, and it showed in the stats.

I had to break it down in simple terms for you to understand and get you the see the picture. All this talk about what the Rockets would've done is hearsay. The opportunities were there for them to meet the Bulls.

They met the Bulls. They kicked their behinds.
Just like Hakeem and the Rockets did.

I'm glad I've exploited the Rocket haters here on this board. you'll never defeat me cause everyone who loved the Rockets has the same spirit and fight as the Dream. We'll continue to whip you on this thread til you dad lets you finally get a car and leave the house.

This thread should be apart of the entrance exam required to make posts in the GARM.

Just as Jordan had the opportunity to meet the Rockets in 95 but came up short?

I will give him credit for doing what it takes to fix the problem, though. After that Horace Grant fiasco, he was smart enough to realize that Pippen wasn't enough. He could never make it to the finals again without a legit PF and started looking for one.

Hakeem and the Rockets, on the other hand, were content with *drum roll* Matt Baloney running the point.

I'd just like to add that that "1986 birth control" line had me in histarics...."sometimes I dream, that Dream is me....like Dream if I could be like Dream!!!!"

I'll always love MJ, but no pro athlete gets in the way of my man crush for Hakeem, and no one ever will.............................[sarcasm] not even tmac [/sarcasm]

The new thread should be, "If the Rockets beat Seattle in Game 7 in 1993, and beat Pheonix (which wouldve been very possible), would the Rockets have had a 3-Peat instead of the Bulls?

Also, if we beat them, would Jordan have never retired the first time?

I know everybody asks about the 94 and 95 titles, but I think this is interesting as well.

I, sir, accuse you of being a ARF!

You, sir, are an Anti-Rocket Fan!

Down with the ARFs! Down with the ARFs!

You, sir, are the reason people have called upon Clutch to close registration again!

Turn Rocket fans will do anything for their team. I waited 4+ years just to get a chance sign-up for this BBS! Please be more respectful of what this BBS encompasses!

Some never learn, albeit they have a chance.

    Question then...

Does that move them from ignorant to stupid?

    Blinded at minimum.

LONG LIVE the DREAM and the HOUSTON ROCKETS!

    :D

[/tinman impression on 02/28/2008] (until further deemed necessary ;) )

If boomers can still wax poetic about JFK, RFK and the Beatles those of us who recall Clutch City I and II can still revel in the Rox greatness.

Thanks as always Tinman. Loved those clips of Dream coming out of nowhere to swat people and that clip of him practically faking Shawn Bradley out of his shoes on with the Dream shake.

Rick Adelman witnessed a lot of that first hand I hope he shows those clips to fire up this generation of Rockets.

Tinman, I want to truly thank you for this thread. This should be stickied as the greatest thread of all time in the history of threads!

I think the greatest regret in my life is going to be not having the opportunity to see The Dream play in person! :( When I go see Mac and Yao play, I am amazed at how good and smooth the action is in person, I just wish I could have seen the Dream own people in person!
