I think 17-18 pts is not too much to ask for if you are an allstar
Bosh at least was or might still be a star player.. never considered him a superstar although he had all the tools to become one.

One other thing is Heat bench isn't as good as advertised

GS made mincemeat out of him for a couple of games, especially Curry.

it's because what starts threads that fall under 2 categories, 1) ridiculous, or 2) captain obvious

I am well aware of that. I was referring to the "downloading" of Clutchfans. I don't even know what that means, and I was unaware of such an episode involving heyp.

Anyway, I am looking forward to what's thread next year informing us that Steph Curry is a good 3 point shooter after he makes five in a game against Memphis.

Are you saying only this year he's been great?

From his Final MVP year on, he's been one of the most difficult players to game-plan for in the league. More of a consistent threat than Ginobody for many years, imso.

Even if they made him guard Wade, SA seemed to play zone, so Parker would only need to try to stay in front of him while Splitter/Duncan lock down the paint. Spurs play as a team. That's why there are no easy answers to stopping them.

He should have received more MVP love last year.

It was obvious that he had slumps because I remembered one famously ridiculous thread where then 2009 MIP Aaron Brooks was considered better.
Happened to Near Allstar Lowry as well.

I swear, because of that one miracle shot (that was actually very well defended), people are overrating the hell out of Parker's performance on Thursday night.

He had a prayer answered at the right time, which was nice, but he only scored 21 points on 18 shots. Not bad, but not exactly a dominating performance.

I'm not saying that the Heat necessarily have an answer for him on defense (although I don't think he's going to consistently light him up), but let's not act like he's killing them right now... I do think Lebron would slow him down, though.

I probably define greatness in a different way.
For instance he averaged more than 20pt (taking the scoring load, playing at his best) only in 2 seasons out of 12 seasons

    2008 and this season
otherwise he was widely considered as an All NBA second or third team most of the time behind Chris Paul and some others.

It only shows the greatness of the GDA trio but this year more than ever they are relying heavily on him because Duncan and Ginobili are not who they were in those championship years.
    He now needs to score
