It's not just Smoove signing with Clips it's the lack of Houston not doing much in free agency and especially not getting the biggest need a PG. Other teams in the west have become much better pushing Houston down. Is the world over? No but as of today this cast on the Rockets could easily be a 1st rd exit team. Still hoping we get that pg and see some upgrades on this team.

Damage control in full effect. Why exactly should we calm down again? If we were having a great offseason would u be telling us to calm down to keep our expectations under control?

Same offseason paranoia as last year, we let parsons, lin and asik go and we were "barely" a playoff team. Ended up in the WCF losing to the eventual champs. ALOT of time before the season starts. I actually think we've had a good offseason, keeping brewer and beverley and the underrated signing of marcus thorton. Yeah Josh Smith left to the Clippers but that was his choice, not the Rockets.

Smoove was our best PF in the playoffs last year but losing him doesn't mean we're currently weak at PF.

And, to be honest I would much rather we dedicate our bench 3PAs to Thornton than to smoove.

    The sky is falling because...
    Morey is an idiot
    Les is cheap
McHale can't coach his way out of a paper bag
Harden can't win when it counts
    Howard is a flake
D-mo's back will never work again and it some how infected Dekker's back too
    Dorsey is killing this team
    T Jones can't play basketball
Keith Jones is fat and must be fired (my personal favorite)
Summer league guys are losing big leads
    Chris Bosh screwed us
    David Stern screwed us again

So see they won't stop, they don't know how, they'll never be calm, even if we win a championship most of these types of posters will be saying something is wrong with the team. The team would have just gotten lucky. Next year we will suck. They aren't happy people in general. They run around worrying about everything rather than enjoying the ride.

So save your internet breath and don't bother starting this type of thread. Remember Clucth even tried it once.

And for those of you that believe the sky is falling, your posts about why we are not as good are fine with me. Every once an awhile one of you makes a good point in the middle of your crying and once in a blue moon we get to talk you off the ledge.
