Seriously? Then how do you explain that in something like 87% of game 7's, the home team wins?? I know the ROCKETS lost a couple of years ago at home in Game 7, but that hardly suggests that home court is overrated.

Some people rely on facts and some people rely on their gut. It's a matter of taste, but I go with the stats. We need to secure HCA.

I think it also has to do with the fact that the home team is a better team to begin with. But if we compare two specific teams, this factor is taken out.

securing HCA is a must considering how good our home record is over our road record.

The year we lost in 7 games, our home and road record were roughly equal if im not mistaken, but we still lost because of matchup issues.

We don't have MAJOR matchup issue with any team we are guaranteed to play, so if we win our home games and POSSIBLY snag a game on the road, then we can win WITH HCA in a matter of 5 or 6 games.

I don't think the Blazers want us to lose because they do not want to face us in the 1st rd. They rather face the Lakers than us.

exactly. It is the same scenario for every team. All we need to do is to focus on the game we play.

I hope the refs make some bad calls in our favor, just so we get to witness Cuban be his usual d-bag self.

    Man, I hate Dallas.
