Lets not forget Rah Digga's great role as "terrible stereotype" in Thirteen Ghosts...she's come so far from her role in "Carmen, A Hip Hopera".
He's back...with rocafella. Yeah, pretty strange. They had a VH1 special on him coming out of jail this summer. He's crazy. For real. Insane.
I saw Mase get interviewed by those clowns on "106 & Park". He refuses to answer to the name Mase anymore and refuses to acknowledge his past. It's pretty odd. He refuses to talk about his days as a rapper, because they were "days of sin" He is the ultimate reborn Christian who seems to want to erase his memory banks of anything he did before. I just want to know if he donated all that "dirty money" he made to charity or his church. There's the real test.

Mike Jones is weak as hell. I can't believe he's doing so well in the underground scene. (10,000 cds in first week) People from houston nowadays will buy anything from swisha house as long as it's chopped and screwed. I just think most of the houston rappers sound the same and need a higher vocabulary. Guo (the asian rapper on my label), got a 1370 on his SATs. He just turned 18, and is a sophomore at a major university already. Yall should really check him out on my website gotemrecords.com Anyways, Mase was tight as hell, but p diddy got another mase...and his name is loon.
You pretty much summed it up there. I've been waiting for somebody else to come out of Houston that actually has something worth listening to. As for Magnificent, I know the guy personally and if he could sign with a bigger record label, I wouldnt be surprised to see him blow up. He's got a lot of potential.
I gotta agree with this. Someone told me Westside Connection is going to drop an album in December....
I don't know...I'm not about to put another qualifier on this man. He walked away from a very lucrative and promising career. I can't question the man's true integrity...
I was never a big Mase fan, but I'll admit his stuff was catchy and his lazy monotone flow was unique. I did however, really admire how he could give up the money, women, lifestyle to pursue something that he felt was more meaningful. He left in the prime of his career (his last album was selling as well, but it still sold a lot) and followed his heart and didn't care what anyone else thought. I definitely give the guy a lot of credit and really respect him for that.
I saw the story on DMX too, but since then he was on another show cursing it up singin' the same ol' tune. btw- Mason Betha did put huge amounts of his own money into building the church he's at, after putting huge amount into this guy's ministry --->his "mentor" Creflo Dollar .
