I'm not a doctor or a researcher, but I know that development of new antibiotics draws heavily on evolutionary theory.
I love this forum. I start in a thread defending that it might be ok for schools to actually be allowed to state what problems there are with the theory of evolution and by the end I am a religious nut that disputes the existence of evolution... which I might add I have never done.
I can't even fathom how someone would be a true creationist. It's just beyond all science. How on Earth do you explain different breeds of dogs that have come about since the 1500s or later? Maybe I don't get creationism, but it is just beyond all science. It's simply amazing what the creatures of the world have evolved from, and where we are now, as species' on the planet. That, in itself, should be reveled as a divine miracle by those of religious beliefs....
