I've been pretty competitive before but am learning how to relax and take things into perspective. I've been known to get pretty heavy into philosophical and debates and will get to taking debates to logical extremes just to make a point. I guess that's why I love the D & D. When I was younger I used to play basketball, softball and soccer very hard and wouldn't hesitate from contact or even getting thugish when I felt it warranted. I foot swept a guy going up for a rebound after he fouled me hard once. I mostly compete in combative sports so that channels most of my competitive aggression these days.
I have definite video game rage. Once I was playing Tekken 3 and Yoshimitsu beat me 17 straight times. I hurled the controller against the wall, took the game out of the playstation and did the same, shattering it into many little pieces. I have broken toes from kicking things in my room after losing on Madden 2005 to my friend. nothing peeves me more than blowing a lead. One time my friends and I were playing basketball and we blew something like a 10 point lead and lost. I went over and punched a tree, then I ripped a limb off it and hurled it into the baseball field all while screaming obscenities at the top of my lungs.
I have a strong desire to master anything I do, but I don't need to win once I've gotten good at something. Letting someone else win is cool when you know you could win For some reason this topic reminds me of my cousin's 15th birthday party. I was new to the town, and all of the "popular/athletic" kids were there. I stood out bigtime and while playing "kill the man with the ball" they kept accidentally throwing the ball at me no one could touch me, and when I got too tired to run, I smashed their faces into the ground and they just quit the personal glory of that day will last forever lol
