You're right. I guess it's working for not-so-bright people, such as some posters on this forum :p

so you've been reduced to personal insults.

when you have to resort to insults, it means you have no argument left to stand on, and have lost the debate

I'll be the bigger man and not respond with insults back

...says the guy who didn't know anything about Robert E. Lee.

guess I touched a nerve, given your defensiveness

Save it texxx. You're nowhere near the bigger man---as your consistent personal attacks on some (myself included) consistently demonstrate.

If you want a good point to swing at, go back to my point on aggregate demand, and answer my question on what you think should be done given that the largest problem is aggregate demand, and not regulation.

No you just bore me with you idiotic posting. It offends me that Americans can be so willfully and publicly stupid. You have no game and you have no shame.

Unless you are a troll.... You do evoke valuable and informative post from Northside.

And Robert E. Lee was just sad, duped, douchebag. A seemingly intelligent, honorable man manipulated into war by the Southern 1% who used and killed thousands of young men to preserve their own indefensible way of life against the tide of history.

So, you do have a lot in common with him.

lol you've been reduced to hurling insults. 'nuff said. I'll be the bigger man and not hurl insults back.

Some advice for you: I'd suggest, in general, you think through your posts more critically, and only post if you really have an informed opinion. Right now many of your posts don't meet that bar.

    you're frustrated.

Take some time, pull yourself together, then post based on fact and reason

Still waiting on fact and reason, rather than posts berating other posters.

No response forthcoming on how to stimulate aggregate demand, faced with the "fiscal cliff" that has been negotiated because of irrational debt-mongering?

Wow. When your argument has been reduced to this, you know you've lost.

    What a meltdown.

    You have no argument.

No response yet to my points? Texxx, I know I tend to evoke personal responses from you, but for someone who was so brash as to say there was no liberal response to your woe begotten thread, well, you don't seem to like to walk the walk, do you?

    This is such crap.

The fact of the matter is that this President took over a mess, pulled out of Iraq, and had a massive stimulus bill passed...the unemployment rate is no better than it was four years ago. Somehow that is all he Republicans' fault?

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Why won't the Republicans just fall in line and let Obama spend trillions more dollars even though they disagree? Why won't they just pass all his bills?

Sounds like you desire a one party system mark. They ain't how **** works here.

I love this line of thinking. Obama may have (as the picture suggests) 'let the economy fail', 'left millions jobless', and 'increased the number of poor' while spending trillions of tax dollars in the process, but darn those Republicans and their attitude.

It's far better than the Republican notion that balancing the budget (with massive tax cuts, nonetheless) will somehow fix all of our economic woes. Rational people would rather spend money domestically with things like jobs bills than on more wars and military spending.

Obama f-ed up the economy? Everything was good until the day he took office, right?

Is that what rational believe? Is this what all highly educated people agree on? Please spare me such stupid arguments.

Everything was not good when he took office. Yes, Obama f-ed up the economy.
