Didn't learn your lesson the first time you spouted this lie, and Andy had to smack you down with the truth?

That's what is so troubling about this President -- his total lack of effort in working in a bipartisan fashion. He campaigned as someone who would do this, but obviously has governed far differently. His condescending lectures to Republicans only widen the divide. He's just not a leader.

Whether or not Obama has pushed policies that raise taxes isn't even debatable amongst educated humans. Good grief, where do I even begin.

    Capital gains
    Taxes on dividends
    Income tax rates
    Tax on carried interest

Obama has advocated raising all of these taxes and these threats are taking a massive toll on investment and hiring.

And of course Obamacare is the largest tax increase in the history of the world and was only ruled constitutional because it was a tax. And some of these taxes started in 2010! Most, for political reasons (typical Obama), start after the election.

Sorry pal, but the collective 'knowledge' of you and andymoon falls flat on its dumbfounded face, yet again.

The graphic was inaccurate (as I documented) and the economy was shedding 750,000 jobs PER MONTH as a result of Bush's failed policies.

In addition, you continue lying about taxes, I guess I should be surprised that liars be lyin'.

    LOL.

Are we counting Nero's "pay your taxes or die policy" and Stalin's nationalization?

    Also, fixed your second part.

More than 90% of people in this nation had a tax cut under Obama. Those are facts. Wrap your head around it, and please stop trying to spread lies

He may have "advocated" to raise every tax in the world, but his actual policies, you know, the reality of the situation, has been to lower taxes for all Americans. This is indisputable, which is the reason that people like you are reduced to lying.

The taxes contained in the ACA fall FAR short of the "largest tax increase in the history of the world," most people who incur higher costs will do so as a result of their decision to stop freeloading and purchase insurance from private insurers. The estimate is that about 1.5% of the population will be affected by the penalty in the mandate.

At least I don't have to lie to score political points like you do.

Yeah, Obama not caving into every demand of the Republicans is considered a lack of being bipartisan!

C'mon TJ - really? This is the nonsense you are posting these days? Or did that trip to Mars you took really made you lose touch with reality?

Again, Obamacare, which is now law, raised dozens of taxes and is strangling job growth and investment in small businesses. Some of these taxes have already gone up. That's just a fact. Obama has come out and said that he will raise taxes at the end of this year (by vetoing any bill that extends the full Bush tax cuts). Unfortunately, this is having a negative effect right now on hiring and investment in the economy. I won't even embarrass you further with how Obama's crippling regulation imposes hidden taxes all over this great nation by wrapping businesses owners up like mummies in red tape. It's just policy after policy after policy that is attacking small businesses and stunting economic progress and growth.

    You have no argument, moon.

    Higher taxes
    More regulation
    More litigation

It's just not the formula for job growth, and this President's failed policies have proven it.

Democrats want to slash the military, the Republicans want to slash everything else, slashing anything is stupid (see: Britain, Eurozone), especially if you watch the profile of how economies usually recover from credit crises (see: Sweden, Finland in the 1990s) and how public debt decreases automatically. This is especially pronounced as debt-to-GDP often only focuses on PUBLIC debt and not private debt, which is actually larger and more dangerous in many respects (especially as the US Treasury can borrow at rock-low rates, and the average American has to go through manipulative credit companies).

Yes, exactly two of these taxes have gone into effect and only one is actually a "tax." People who use indoor tanning services have to pay a tax so that they are contributing to the system for their elevated risks of skin cancer. Not exactly a tax that is "strangling job growth and investment in small businesses," unless you think that indoor tanning is some kind of major growth industry in the US.

I doubt that any bill to extend the full Bush tax cuts will even reach Obama's desk, but it really doesn't matter since it hasn't happened, so any representation of Obama's policies as having raised taxes is simply a lie.

Based on the economic data I have seen, along with the opinions of almost every economist, our economy is suffering a demand problem. Businesses are sitting on record levels of cash and have no need to expand because We, the People just don't have the money to spend. This is partially because the very wealthy have appropriated all of the recent gains in the economy as well as the lion's share of the recent tax cuts for themselves, leaving the middle class stuck in neutral and unable to spend.

You won't talk about it because it isn't based in reality and you would embarass yourself even more than you already have in this thread.

I have given many and you have ignored them, choosing to repeat lies and GOP talking points because that is all you have.

    A lie

Which, based on surveys of businesses, are not effecting them any more than they have in previous administrations.

Again, assuming "facts" not in evidence.

Obama's policies, with few exceptions, haven't been enacted because the GOP is more interested in blocking anything the Democrats could try to improve things in order to gain a political advantage.

    Employment-population is better.

Labour force participation has a lot of things going on with it, as you can see in the downswing before 2008.
