And this may be reaching a bit...but Cat's rebounds and assists (!) are up higher than last year...and I think his FG% will creep back up to respectability because it was taken down by those really poor shooting games he had when he came off that injury. But, as usual, we'll see.

Guys I live in Mississippi, while I go to college, so I drove the hour to Memphis to see it. I can tell you that even the guys behind me were messing with me because we played such crappy team ball, and said we should have beat them by 10 because we have way more talent. I am going to get slammed as usual for this, but what the heck, we have to at some point consider trading for a true PG and moving SF to shooting guard. As I watched the game, I couldn't help to think that PG is our greatest weakness(not SF but SF at PG).Steve just isn't a true PG, he is a SG. As for Mobley, I just don't see any place on this team for him long term, I am not bashing Cat just saying how I feel. Both Cat and SF are scorers primarily that play the same position, neither one of them has established himself as a defender or a passer, and SF gets the nod because, well he is a better scorer and rebounder than Cat. I will say this right now, so if I am wrong you guys can hassle me about it, but I don't see this team EVER making a serious push in the playoffs untli we get a true PG and move SF to shooting guard. On another note, it isn't just SF and Cat playing like boneheads,. Posey took shots that he shouldn't have, and Moochi just isn't (or didn't the night I was there) bringing the same spark of the bench he used to. For that matter Yao has to take some heat for not being assertive enough. Gasol couldn't have blocked his shot if he takes it up strong instead of trying to take iy up from his chest. Oh well, we won, so what are we all complaining about huh?:D ;) ;)
