"[First-year 76ers general manager Sam] Hinkie is not my GM. He doesn't owe me anything," Turner said Friday before the Sixers played the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center. "… We're going in different directions and everything like that."

    ...

"I really don't know, to tell you the truth," Turner said. "[Hinkie] just traded Jrue, and Jrue is like a walking legend, you know what I'm saying? Even Wilt Chamberlain got traded, right?"

Trading Jrue Holiday is putting the ball in Turner's hands much more, and it's going to get him paid.

    Bright move, Turner.

Is the Jrue the guy Beverly owned in the pre-season?

Turner is averaging like 20+/5/5. I'm not sure why he's complaining.

Those quotes are a little out of context. Turner's just expressing his thoughts that he thinks he's likely to get traded. Been paying a little too much attention to the NBA rumor mill.

Jamal Magloire has played in as many All-Star Games as Jrue 'Walking Legend' Holiday

The biggest mistake Hinkie made so far? He should've extended Doug Collin for one more year.

Brett Brown seriously ruins his tank plan.

Well at least he got himself a damn good coach who can have a team full of scrubs overachieve.

lucky for Turner, Hinkie is purely analytical and could care less what Turner thinks of him

It's Sam's fault for leaving Brett Brown 6 NBA players-- more than enough to win. He needs to cut it down to 2 or 3 NBA players and see how it goes.

I think Evan is safe. Pretty sure Hinkie traded Jrue for Noel to aid his tanking efforts. Too bad they keep winning. LOL.

Wait a second... Jrue was running thru all the chicks in Philly? He's not a very good looking dude.

For Turner, it's got to be tough to play on a team that is intentionally tanking. He doesn't even have more than 5 teammates who are NBA-level players (according to Coach Brown). Hinkie should do them both a favor and trade him to a better team.
